Great news mate!
Sometimes people need to put things into perspective my friend. Life isn't all about football.

If you're melting about a game you need to reevaluate your life. 👍

Needs to play as an inside mid that handballs more than kicks.

Has lost a bit of pace so would be better played as an inside mid than out. Still uses his big body well. Could play the Max Rooke bowling ball role a bit.

Chris Judd, Carlton version role.

Terrible night in the office. But it happens. Better now than in a final and Brisbane have played a lot of their cards tonight.
We have had a very good few weeks. Don’t think we have lost since Sydney & that was probably only because the umpire couldn’t measure correctly.
We will bounce back. Wouldn’t like to be the Bombers having to face us next week after this.
Let the lions wobble their heads. We will meet again this year.

How did we do it in last year's prelim?

Shortened season/quarters which helped the older legs.
Also had a charmed run with injuries throughout the year.

Helped to play Collingwood in the SF at the Gabba who played their grand final the week prior against West Coast. We were relatively fresh and Brisbane simply choked in the second half of the PF. It happens when you are facing a mature team with over 1000 games more in experience.

It looks like Brisbane are going to be ready this year if we meet in another final.

Can't understand the people writing off this result as one "we can afford to lose". The top four margins are razor-thin ffs, we need every point we can get.

Just MHO, but if I was told we'd win 2/3 after the bye, I'd be happy with it.

Last two weeks were huge, emotional wins. Brisbane had just lost to Melbourne, and then sharpened their teeth on North Melbourne before a home game against us. A lot have been spoken about Cats having the recent wool and they'd be very motivated after their R2 loss to us.

While of course, I'd rather we had won, it's a good little wake up call. We've been drinking our own bathwater with our misfits and "three-headed monster". Same number of I-50 yet they've kicked more points than we've had scoring shots. Some Duncan delivery would have helped but I would question if even his inclustion could have altered the result tonight.

I just think we look exhausted coming off two big wins with a 6-day break and it's manifesting with sloppiness.
