If Adelaide want Gibbs when he is contracted and happy to stay at CFC, Adelaide will have to pay a full price. Personally very happy for him to stay.

Mate Tigers have always failed to get anyone (see Treloar last year) and almost failed to get Yarran last year, despite chasing him while he was under contract last year and inciting him to want to leave CFC. Tigers will make a lot of noise about all the players you are chasing - before giving up pick 6 to get Prestia or getting no deals done yet again.

Hardly makes you an expert on the value of Bryce Gibbs, or what CFC supporters really think.

My comment was about the delusion of Carlton supporters in overvaluing Yarran last year. They are doing it again with Gibbs.

CFC supporters did not want Yaz to go and really wanted to see him at his best which was always great to watch.
Tigers chased him while under contract then thought a first round pick for a wanted best 22 player who was selected in the AFL Draft at #6 and was coming up to his peak was unfair? SOS traded as the damage was clearly done and Yaz insisted he was going.

Hardly the case with Gibbs. If Adelaide want him he should not be cheap.
But if Adealide got him he would be a genuine star of the competition (like Betts) as he would have a lot more support around him.
And CFC will suffer a massive drop off in performance, unless SOS trade/drafts well.

It would seem there have been 2 rumours in relation to Gibbs. The one that you refer to & one suggesting the Crows made contact with Gibbs/the Carlton FC in relation to a possible trade. Both are most likely nothing more than speculation by mischievous BF posters.

If there's discussion around them, it's the media looking for extra cheap clicks to their stories.
