Cameron Cloke is set to join Port Adelaide after walking out on the Blues. The ruckman/forward has been offered a 3 year deal by Port Adelaide and it seems likely the struggling club will pick uo the big man in the Pre Season Draft.

It was widely regarded that Cloke had a new 1 year deal, but was later confirmed that it was an optional contract if Cloke played 10 games in 09, which he did. A stale realtionship between coach and player is to blame and the announcement will be made shortly.

The walkout has left a spot free on Carltons list which will be taken up by discarded Saint Matt Maguire but it seems likely the Ex-Saint will be picked up late in the ND rather than the Pre Season Draft.

Ok i wasnt going to post these small facts, but seeing as the club deprives fans of info during the off season i will share them with you. Includes some info on other clubs too.

- Mitch Thorp will not be picked by Carlton. He is more than likely going to play for Richmond.
- Carlton has no interest whatsoever in Russell Robertson.
- As i think ericpascoe mentioned, the club was considering trying to rookie Johnson, but that tactic has been scrapped and the club will leave him on the list for another year.
- Adam Pattison and Jesse Smith will play for Hawthorn next year.
- Simon Buckley is a 80/20 shot of being picked up next year. Aaron Kite will be rookied.
- Warnock is about 2 weeks from being able to do full training.
-Jarrad Waite is unlikely to play in the NAB CUP. He will play Bullants practice matches and if all goes to schedule he may sneak in for 1 NAB match, however the focus is on Rd 1.
- Luke Ball will stay at St Kilda
- Joel Macdonald will play for Fremantle or North Melbourne next year.

Cloke at port?

We've currently got 3 spots on our list - all of which are set for the first round in the draft.

I'd really like to see who we delist to fit cloke on our list.
 
Just quickly,

As we have no more positions on our team after upgrading Wade Thompson (And therefore have no position within the PSD) how is this going to occur? (Without a further delisting of course.)

Wont believe it until I see it.
