The Carlton Football Club will not cut ties with former long-time club sponsor and business associate MC Labour, despite allegations the company had links to gangland figures and had been accused of wrongdoing.
What a club! Pokies, gangland figures, brown paper bags and despite all the alledgedly illegal and dodgy stuff happening down there they celebrate 30 this year with a loss to the worst team since Fitzroy

Maybe they can make the Grand Final an offer it can't refuse?

I would say they could sell their soul for it but that is long gone

Somehow Essendon are a more respectable club

I am so damn proud.
Gangsters/The Italian Mob is what made the city of Melbourne the vibrant, multicultural metropolis it is today !

Least our sponsors are not poisoning the planet like Freo !

This is the best news I have read in footy all week !

The Baggers are back!!

No, but he did represent thalidomide survivors and eventually managed to triple the number of affected people who received payouts.

As well as:
  • Winning compensation for all 566 people suffering from medically acquired HIV/AIDs from an Australian contaminated blood supply.
  • Running the first Australian mass legal challenge to the tort immunity claimed by the Catholic Church and Christian Brothers Orders, on behalf of sex abuse victims.
  • Achieving the first mass settlement against Dow Corning, for women injured by defective breast implants.
  • Acting for the Cancer Council to oppose Big Tobacco’s challenge to the Gillard government’s plain packaging laws; this followed 13 years of litigation against the tobacco industry internationally, leading to law reform in Victoria to prevent abusive corporate destruction of evidence.
  • Achieving a $2 billion settlement for present and future asbestos victims of James Hardie.
He's basically the anti-Carlton.

Oh please, I agree he has done a lot of good things, but you don't get as wealthy as PG without doing some favours for undesirable types, that's not how the system works

You're trying to smear the name of someone who fights against the big end of town by associating him with Carlton-style lowlifes.

Have a little class.

What about Peter Gordan's misogynist treatment of Female Bulldoch Benefactor and Philanthropist Susan Alberti ? Can you honestly defend that?

Mate, Carlton being corrupt is as traditional as their navy jumper—Ampol just fuels the ride. At least they’re consistent, unlike their last-quarter efforts. 😂💀

Go hug a tree, Hippie.

Ampol is beloved Australian Institution like Golden Fleece. We are not poising the planet like Shell (lol Geelong) 1
