The Bloos have won 3 of their last 9. The 3 wins? Richmond, North and West Coast.

How good would it have been to have played either of those 3 teams more than once?

Cats and Port immediately before that. Get back on Wotif and plan out September instead of wasting your time here...

It's really no fun having banter threads with opposition teams who can't even make finals. Here Carlton are, extending our September streak once again. Haven't lost a final in Melbourne since 2001 (8,381 days, for those who count these things) and it doesn't look like that record will be broken in 2024 unless there is a team out there good enough to beat us on grand final day.

Meanwhile Collingwood... might be the worst premiership defence of the modern era. Somehow managed to join Richmond in the remarkable feat of losing twice before the first Saturday of round 1, and never really made it back from there. Not sure where they finished, but surely being so far off the pace while fielding pne of the oldest lists in the comp means a rebuild is on the cards?

Huge by Carlton. Top 4 lock to sneaking into the 8 to face Brisbane at the Gabba. Success!
Its the perfect revenge plot. Would have been better to do a sneak attack from 9th again like we did on the Tigs but the Bombers couldn't even get their peptide program back up and running with the cost of living crisis going on atm.

The lions will go underdogs into this one because we have lots of #injuries

Carlton have 14 players currently listed as between 1-2 weeks on the injury list. Good luck game-planning for that? Who knows what you'll be facing... seems a lot for a 97 year old senior coach to have to process to be honest...

With the way that the baggers have performed over the past 6 years while the Lions have been consistently strong it goes to show, age is just a number!

We will probably just plan for a spud side that relied on Kenny Hinkley to get them into the 8!

What about the side that beat you in our only game this year at The Gabba?

You have to admit - the Brions have come off the heat a little & are showing again they can give up a lead…

We get a nice group of players back for this one - we’ve got nothing to lose & The Brions carrying all the expectation.

Lovely :)
