Brock McLean is Woorinens signing. Very handy inclusion for the tigers.

What’s this mean for Gardner?

McLean ain’t a ruck or a FF so Gardner will be just fine. Would imagine Woora play him in the guts or even off half back and possibly free up Beames or Thompson around the ground
Really liking the game of young Thompson, plays with a lot of flair. Pity he does not get as many chances to showcase his ability as others do.

What a match up we have Saturday with Kerang and Woorinen.

2 of the greatest coaches to ever coach in this league going at it. I’m sure Trent’s mate Troy would have the boys firing at training this week as they know this is an 8 point game and wouldn’t want this game to hurt them later in the season! Marcus and the Woorinen boys would be very excited this week as well after a good win and a big signing!

Will be plenty of heat on the magnet movers to footy! These 2 sides traditionally like to make plenty of changes. Vince is the best in the game at this and it’s good to see Luke Cotchett back moving the magnets for his old mate.

The magnet movers has become a crucial role these days with so many rotations happening. Chris Smith and Mel Carpinteri are also some of the best magnet movers in the business.

back pocket specialist thats it for henry T
I agree, bit of a back of a back pocket plumber.. Very basic player from what I’ve seen. Only seen him play a few times and he was convincingly beaten by his opponent. Still young enough to improve though

Important that the magnet mover does not try to over throw the coach. The coach needs to rule with an iron fist, much like Brad Morris does.

Bloody hell what am I reading here? Magnet movers ?what's our great game come too, holding up stop start signs and flicking a players name on whiteboard
It is the way footy is now, if you haven't got the magnet movers in place to make adjustments in the modern game, you'll get left behind. Simple stuff here, not quite sure how this thread has gone off the rails though.

Will go into more depth on a few thoughts I have got on the state of the league shortly. Stay tuned.

Some really good matchups to look forward to this week. Each game really could go either way depending on which team brings their A game.

For me it’s Nyah over Lalbert,
Tooleybuc over Cohuna,
Kerang over Woorinen,
Barham over Boga,
Balranald over Tyntynder

The modern game hey, when the magnet movers are so worried about rotations, they have 14 on a field as 4 are trying to race off the ground every 5 minutes or a player has to come off and leaves a stoppage with no cover and results in an easy goal, to the opposition. When it's blowing a gale, these magnets movers have 0 idea how to use the dead pocket into the wide and use the other side of the ground with rhe wind to score. Real technical stuff footy is these days

Does anyone think country footy will become less professional in the next 20 years? Each clubs these days are becoming more and more professional each year in they way they train, recover and coach ect.

Luke crow for years was very good at this with Woorinen. He understood the game. Let’s just hope Vince does as well!
