The point was you nearly always pay overs to move players..Not sure why freo supporters always drone on about Kelly when you guys paid more for Hogan and he is kicking goals at a different club.

The age demographic logic is also flawed..The Eagles list is actually very young. But who cares, its about ability and having the right blend of players, not having a list of players all under 25

Although with his foot injury it's likely his last year in 2025, if he even makes it back given the recovery from his last bout of surgery

Then when you factor in Harley’s next contract will be at least 1.8- 2(more likely )a year that’s ridiculous amount of cap spend on just 2 players.

But I’m sure Ginbey, Hewitt, Hough, Williams ,long ,plus Allan 5 -7 yr extension will all see them take unders to keep the team together and those 2 happy for success

Seems that way. 2nd time in a off-season he's been seen playing golf with Pyke. This time around, Kieran Jack was with them.

You are correct, but a young team winning usually implies room for growth and improvement. An old (not necessarily West Coast, Fremantle 2016, West Coast 2021-3) team losing a lot implies a relatively lengthy rebuild is impending sans a Hail Mary like Dangerfield joining for chips, followed by Jeremy Cameron shortly after. Etc.
