Was about to take that seriously then I saw that St Kilda, Melb, port and Coll are ranked above the Hawks and cats LOL.

As for us, I counted 5 elite not 3.
coll in 7th is hilarious

dud list

Groupie_ your formatting is shocking. Spend a bit of time tabulating it and making a graph, please.

Five? Rance, Martin, Cotchin & then who? Jack at his best maybe but that hasn't been seen now for a couple of years, Caddy & Prestia yet to run out for us and neither have proven to be elite at past clubs.

Thanks for putting that up.

It would be interesting to see how the dogs, us, GWS were rated at the end of 2014.

To me it says more about the way a team plays.
If you play a winning game style, you will have more players be considered as elite, rather than the quality of the individual players.

Wait...what? That's how they worked this list out? Aren't Champion Data the campaigners who do all the AFL stats and then don't share them with the general public? And they use all that data to come up with this? Haha...**** me.
Correct, you might recall they labelled Sheds as elite, but qualified it as elite in his position. He didn't have a great year, so I assume he's dropped of the list.

Would love to k now who the 3rd elite is, given Rance and Dusty would be the first two. Cotch or Jack?

Would have to be Cotch based on last season (although I would say both are clearly elite).

Neither. It's obviously Astbury!

So 4 elite players and 10 good players (Adelaide) beats 6 elite players and 7 good players (Sydney). Because 4+10=14 and 6+7=13 and 14>13. Good one Champion Data you little ******* champions of data, you.

Actually, even dumber than that...Melbourne above Hawthorn when both have a score of 10. But Melbourne's is 2 elite plus 8 good and Hawthorn is 5 of each. How does that make any sense?

Even if you can accept their designations and the stupidly simple method of ranking teams that they have come up with, there are still logical problems with it. Why is this even a thing.
