Great that our changes are minimal, again. And building some nice chemistry between the exciting kids up forward.

All we need now is rain on Monday, preferably some heavy downpours, and we can implement Fly’s famed wet weather game plan. We’ll be a shoe-in.👍

Exit: apparently the correct spelling is ‘shoo-in’
I think the Freo game was an anomaly.
The Hawks game I think gave a true view of our wet weather capabilities. In the third when it was wettest we struggled due to our light bodies and a few in 22 whose lack of hardness is exposed in the wet

But he'd get a full game, if Mihocek is out and he and Elliott are the ins for Reef and Checkers. Agree that he shouldn't be sub two weeks in a row.
I suppose if Mihocek went out. Maybe they plan on giving Chuggy a run? Or Macrae.

Brown's just too beige at the moment. I see some him trying and he has moments but so do all the others. Rewarding Macrae would help with his confidence.

Changes won't be so minimal if we lose Mihochek as there is nothing remotely approaching a like for like replacement. WHE at CHF doesn't inspire confidence, though thankfully May is out for the Demons.

Don’t be a spoil sport.☹️ I like this ‘wet weather’ story even if it’s a myth.

It’s pretty cold out. I’ll be in shoes.

I always thought it was a shoe-in - thought it must have been a soccer reference. But looked it up and it's a corrupt jockey term. The jockey pulls his horse back and "shoos" the other horse "in" for an easy win.

If you watch both games - we weren't that good while it was raining, but performed really well once it cleared. So maybe it has to rain and clear.

Another spoil sport!

OK, it can rain a lot, and then clear up. Then we can implement Fly's famed immediate post-rain game plan. :p

As a live spectator I think I'd prefer that too. If the rain can come in that small period between when I arrive at the ground and the first bounce that would be great, thx.

How long after the rain do we have before the post-rain game plan goes to shit and we have to revert to our pre-rain game plan? It really highlights how tough coaching is.

This is a quandary. Also thinking this level of deep analysis belongs in the Whipping Boys thread.

I’m looking forward to his Total Solar Eclipse game plan…
