Adelaide, GC and GWS. Carlton don’t really bother me because they don’t have the smalls to scare us allowing the likes of IQ and Houston to sag off with how slowly they move the ball. Those three are tall and fast which bothers me.
Brisbane are an issue too. You've got to kill aerial contests again them - they just turn soft spills into goals. I don't see how we uprgrade on Moore and Howe in terms of killing the ball though. Frampton doesn't kill the ball.

If we struggle against these three then we need to start our rebuild immediately.

Draper the leagues biggest paradox. Could take make of the year in the goal square and the proceed to hit the post.
IKR, Essendon are 💩.
Hopefully Draper doesn’t kick those out of his arse goals he normally does.

I see them as an issue, but I think they lack the quality of tall that the others have so if you slow their transition intercept marking becomes an option. I’m basically buying all that you’re selling though and will support Maynard as that next up tall.

The only point you’ve made that I’d expand on is a vent at the missed opportunity of McInnes as the 4th best tall option. I agree that it’s where he’s ranked and his loss probably had limited impact on how the Dogs match played out (except on Perryman’s game), but the unknown of 20 matches time alongside Howe and Moore is what we’ve now lost. There’s a world where 2025 is it for Howe and that development time through on field learning could have meant anything.

We’ll need to find one post 2025 with Dean and Frampton also OOC so who knows what the mix looks like 12 months from now… Hopefully + McGovern 🤞

Yes, he is 195cm and won the combine time trial, so he has the physical attributes.
He also played well in the first VFL game of the season.
Probably a bit early, though.
We will probably target a back in the MSD.
If he has a few good showings in the VFL, I'd be interested to see him play on Nate Caddy. Feels like a perfect match up to match Caddy's athleticism and he has 2cm on him.

Unfortunately we don't have a prime Scarlett or Fletcher to play on the Draper, Langford and Caddy trio though we have to make do.

I haven't watched Essendon recently. I don't get why Draper keeps being mentioned. Has he become a dangerous forward rather than a Grundy style ruckman?

They've been playing him forward a fair bit because their other options haven't been cutting the mustard.
Jones is a good example, although he's part of one of Jamie Elliott's immortal moments.
