Out JDG, Brown, WHE & Pendles

In nothing left?

Seriously we were our worst enemy today. I found it hard to enjoy wins like that but hey thats me.

Pendles really looks at the end of his career & JDG looks timid and not interested.
Pendles was one of the reasons we won. JDG also critical in moments… the other two played their roles.

Tyler has to go out, 3 possessions to three-quarter-time,

Rapt that he kicked an important goal and did a couple of nice things, but he just hasn't clicked at AFL level yet, still fumbly, error-prone and doesn't get enough of it.

Would have loved McCreery's pace and pressure to shut down some of Saad's endless runs out of our forward 50 today.
Agreed.
I DO NOT like not having McCreery in our team.
MUST play.

Well he was playing in and around the midfield/ HF, hence him kicking that vital goal in the last. He was also a marking option down the ground along the wing when kicking long out of D50....
If by being a marking target you mean getting pushed out of marking contests then yes he was a marking target.

JDG so timid he put Weitering out of the game.

You obviously just want to bag the bloke, but his efforts on the wing, with the Saad tackle, then the smother, which we eventually got a goal out of, through Cox, probably won us the match in the end....Stays in the side for me, and l'm sure he will....

Yeah I made a comment on another thread about pendles starting to look a bit past it, still does good things but is too slow for midfield minutes.

Already stated my thoughts on JDG, I don’t think he is worth the big $$ he wants.

Pendles’ leadership is so important that he’ll be picked even as his abilities slowly wane.

I don’t want to bag bloke I appreciate his efforts in the last. But if you’re gonna continue this argument I’m going to bring up his faults.

What a negative load of tripe. Pendles makes a couple of errors under intense pressure-how many young Carlton players were caught holding the ball or pressured into mistakes and turnovers? As for DeGoey being timid-based on what other than your animus toward the bloke. Do you consider yourself a supporter? If you don't enjoy wins like today you must have a miserable bloody time at the footy.

I'm not arguing mate, and nor would l put the effort into a pointless argument. All l said in my intial post is the T Brown stays in the side, imo, if you don't like that l suggest that, then just accept it, and don't reply to my post, and then bag the bloke in the process....

Hard to make changes on that gutsy performance.
Maybe give WHE a week off for Reef?
Thou WHE hasn’t been bad recently, just freshen.
McCreery for T Brown perhaps?
T Brown sub.
Thou ok if Brown stays again McCreery finds form in the twos.
Lipinski regaining some form again, been good last two weeks.

You are arguing, and have clearly put in effort in this so called “pointless” argument. All I said was he played a different and his bigger body wasn’t as effective today when replying to you initial post but you got offended and had a hissy fit.

The coaching staff love him so he’s a good chance to stay, won’t argue against that.

I think pendles biggest issue is he's still looking for the perfect target like he did in his prime 5 years ago.. he's still a bloody good player he probably just needs to realise he's dropped 1 or 2 Percent and look for the easy target rather then the 1 in a hundred he can hit

Ginnivan will be the interesting one. He didn't look anywhere near 100% today could barely chase and especially some instances later in the game were he was clutching at his hammy. Was surprised McCreery wasn't subbed in

DeGoey has had a strange year
Hasn’t dominated any game, yet has been consistently ok/good.
Think im enjoying the latter
Thou I like him around the goals
Other than a couple of weeks after the flu, I think he's been excellent. He's playing attacking side of the pack, breaking things open and getting involved in lots of scores. A bit messy with the footy at times today, but generally very damaging.

Guys bagging DeGoey’s game?
What???….
It's every week. They could play him in a traditional follower role and he'd get 30 possessions every week and everyone would be happy, but they're playing him in a more damaging role ahead of the ball where he can split the game open and get involved in a heap of our goals. I think he's having a very good year, except for a couple of quiet games post flu.
