Adelaide have a strong apex, weak base. Crumble the base, we win. Last time it was 48 points and I think we have the potential to make it 20. Half of BF likes to point out how bad Adams' kicking is so maybe it'll help us or remind us all why Adams is valuable.
The two aren’t mutually exclusive. Adams is a very valuable player, but he is a terrible user by foot. He will be missed this week, no doubt.

Pendles probably wondering why he still has to carry the midfield at 34.
Not sure how Buckley didn't ever develop a midfielder from the ground up bar De Goey after 10 years.

These would b my changes but if we go the other way with one change then one of the 8 defenders would need to be included in the midfield rotations.

It's like hitting a draw or fade in golf. You don't look at the target. You like at where you're going to start the ball flight.
Not so sure Moore is the definite in that we hope and if he joins Grundy, Adams and De Goey on the sidelines for the game against the Crows then this looms as a genuine 50/50 contest at best.
Yesterday showed that despite our ladder position we remain very vulnerable if our intensity drops away and/or are missing a few of our best players.
On the question of Moore if he doesn't get up then perhaps we might need to consider the taller McMahon for a role on the equally young KPP Thilthorpe. Seems like a good opportunity to expose him to AFL level and potentially expand our KP options for 2022.
As for who replaces Adams will it be Macrae or is the medi sub from yesterday T. Brown next in line?
I'm hoping for Macrae who backed up his VFL performance from the previous round by setting a new season (personal) high for disposals yesterday.

He isn’t proven but he has all the qualities for it, intercept marking, elite kicking and pace.
In golf you take a good look at your target (with assistance of a caddy ) and line yourself up before taking a swing.
Mihocek at no stage did any more than a glancing look at where the goals were

Freeman and Stephenson were meant to be those midfielders.
Sier and Rantall both duds as well
Both of them were fairly late draft picks so that's to be expected, Freeman and Stephenson were both top 10 picks and meant to be 10+ year midfielders.
Adams was about 21 when he joined the club. Was very much a ground up development.
Besides, we are currently tracking superbly so I really don’t see the point of bagging Buckley out. He took us within and inch of a premiership, his time ended, and now we have McRae.

He had a really good game in the VFL, plus he's just signed a new contract, so it's time for him to play.
Him and Carmichael might make a decent inside mid combination in the absence of Adams.

Yep. We win the Weagles game and we're top 4 tied on 48 points with Dees, Cats and Dockers. If you'd told me that at the end of last season I would have laughed.
