Lol they play Hinkleyball and Voss was forced to the bench just like the donut.

A slow midfield booting it forward just like Wines-Boak- Rockliff.

They'll probably win but its going to be a godawful piss-slop. Nothing inspired about it.
Have you watched their games? Heard their crowds? They rode their 2014 like year last year. They're up and about. Years of being down and they're finally on the up and with a new coach and despite their huge injury toll their fans and players believe something good is coming. They haven't crashed down like we did in 2015/2016 yet that sapped us. They're absolutely riding a wave, if you don't see that you haven't been watching them.

I’d play Sweet in the wet. Give Soldo a couple more SANFL games to get some run in his body. Sweet is also pretty tall, and ruckman won’t be jumping that much in the rain.

We probs miss SPP in these conditions, it’s good at least Jones is back to have a bigger body in the mix, besides Ollie, Drew and JHF.

With Rozee and Rioli out, will be interesting who plays forward, there is probs two small spots up for grabs there, as I don’t think we have another mid to bring in. Maybe Frankie and Anast…

Or left field, maybe Tom Clurey comes in on the wing.

I'd actually look at playing both.

It's going to be stoppage after stoppage and is there any point in playing 3 tall forwards?

Finlayson gets the night off.

Can't wait to have big Chuck back leading the forward line

I wouldn’t bring back Dixon this week, hold him one more for a nice break, then he can take on Taylor fresh

I don’t necessarily think this is the best option. As a two week break is actually 3 weeks because of the bye.

That’s a long time to loose your touch.

What touch?

In: Dixon, Tommy A
Out: Mitch G, Rioli
Mitch G looked gassed in 2nd half last week. Reckon we have to have a crack at 3kpf. Just not sure long term who the 3rd option is out of MG/Finlayson/Lord.
Jones in 22, Burton to sub.

I can see the argument for also play and then have the bye. I’m thinking wet, top heavy.

I think Dixon is actually important in the wet. It suits his game and the territory game we play with him in the team.

He doesn't have to mark it. In the wet getting the ball deep repeatedly and hoping for the best is actually a decent strategy (that wasn't intended to sound so much like a euphemism).

Without Dixon I can see a Weitering taking a lot of intercept marks.

It would be a good game to replace Finlayson with a genuine crumber though. He just doesn't have the intensity for the wet.

Finlayson is probably our best ground ball tall forward though. He plays like a small in a way, I wouldn’t drop him this week in the wet.
Yeah, I would give Dixon another week which with the bye stretches it out to 3 weeks. Finny is good at ground level.

Dixon now plays like he's keeping his cherry in the prison showers. He's not bending over for anything. Not even the Sherrin.

Finlayson and Burton think Intensity is a place where you go for a lock-in and play as much Daytona and Time Crisis as possible.

Getting back to the game, we got touched up last year by their smaller brigade including Jesse Motlop and also Jack freaking Silvagni.

That was the game Kenny Average got his contract and we put the cue in the rack for the rest of the year as Carlton stopped the 13 game winning streak.
