Another game we get to watch Dougie JOG from contest to contest only for the ball to be cleared before he gets close enough to impact anything.
BUTWe can't win.
... say what, now??Port might lose ...
See this kind of posting makes me smile.
In that 8 times, you forgot about his ootf's and kicks that land on oppo chests. The best bit though, is even with this perceived ‘pace’, Mackay maxes out at looping a ball to a contest or empty space 8 times out of 10.
The only reason I can think that Dougy is being picked is the club had him in the best 22 during preseason and are sticking to that. He has had no positive impact on any games.
... and best non-external review possible, ever.I believe the conclusion they came to post-review was "Best footy department in the league."
I think the reasoning is sadder then that. We still think there is some mileage left in him and are not yet willing to accept he's done.
Pretty good melt, there .I have supported the Crows since inception. What a ride.... 2 premierships and a world of hope for more. I AM 67 NOW AND AM RAPIDLY GIVING UP HOPE OF ANOTHER PREMIERSHIP IN MY LIFETIME.
I put my hope in the hands of incompetent dickheads who fail to reward form or endevour and continue to pick their s**t mates. Hope we win by 10 goals but why start the game with a handicap.
SELECTION it is putrid.
Unfair.Another epic selection night. The only thing that will top it is the meltdown on gameday, which will be followed by "The Good, the Mackay and the Douglas" thread post game.
How can professionals be so delusional? Unless they aren't that professional.
His issue isn't form, it is his body and that isn't improving.
Not over the moon with the ins. Worried they're rushing Leeroy also. What's the bet he's back to his tentative old ways instead of the beast mode Leeroy we've gotten used to over the last 6 weeks?
He's not.If CEY was fit I'd play Sloane for large periods as a forward.
He can't.Betts needs to wind the clock back a few years.
They would've played Sauce until he was in his mid-40's, although he was clearly past his best . The only reason ROB got his chance, and has made a great job of it, was Jacobs' injury.Near impossible to say, but I have no idea how they're not seeing it. Everything about how he plays right now screams he finished, and whilst he isn't as bad as 2016 Thommo, he's starting to approach that point.
Bullshit. I was there and apart from a 15 minute period we annihilated them. We relaxed coming off a short break thinking it was over then found our intensity again to ensure the winComfortably??... did you actually watch the game?.. we gave up a great lead in the first half of the last quarter and they almost took the game off us.. in the end we consolidated and won by 20 points when we should’ve won by a lot more.. we were up 7 goals at the start of the 4th ffs.
And they were massively undermanned missing some of their better players and R gray who always tears us a new one.
It's not a bad shout actually. Smith and laird were well held last week so if mookay can free them up then they will help us a lotThis is my tip:
Milera to replace Davis up forward.
Mackay to replace Smith at half back
And wait for it............
Smith to replace Gibbs in the middle, you heard it here first
That’s the only way I can accept Mackay back. Given Seeds and Atkins form he’s not playing on the wing.
He aint a forward that’s for sure.
If we move either of those 2 from the wing to fit in Mackay I give up.
