I'm not ragging on Milera at all, I WANT him to be what we know he can be but does he need to play SANFL for a bit? Purely to get his body right, not a performance issue. I'm not dying in a ditch over it but I'm not mad if they did it. For the record I don't think they will drop him back.

But number 1 on the agenda simply has to be Himmelberg. Gollant in. If I see Frampton come in I'll be perplexed. Surely not. Rather Strachan than Frampton.

McPherson for Sholl seems logical.

We don't seem to play the MCG that well so if I were Nicks I would be bollocking everyone if they aren't hitting their targets by foot next week. One week free pass, next week you should be on the block if you are in the 50s or worse by foot

Milera could do with finding some touch in the SANFL - no idea why he was rushed back. ROB can run, mark and provide a contest but Strachan is infinitely more athletic and is a pretty good kick for a ruck. Cook needs to be playing each week and one of Parnell/Davis in the backlines give us another defender with above average kicking skills.

Sholl to wing and Soligo to sub.

No, he should be in for probably the first half of the season. After all, this is a make or break campaign for the lad as half back/small defender is a relatively easy role to find someone to perform in.

It is going to be near impossible to ignore Gollant after that trial game.

I do think they had the idea of using EH as a placeholder until Tex came back as well though, but that plan has been blown to smithereens now. As dominant of a key forward performance as some of Texs work in the early part of last year.
