Brown was injured last time we played them when Elliot kicked 6 goals, I'm sure he'll do a job this time aroundcollingwoods midfield always towels us up..
and then there’s always a random pies player, like an Elliot, who somehow manages to have an absolute blinder against us after weeks of showing nothing!..
The sacrificial lamb who is playing this week?I got the impression it was about getting RT right and some confidence in the SANFL, and Berg will play until he is right to go. Berg seemed like the sacrificial lamb to me.
To play on Moore. The sacrificial lamb who is playing this week?
Brb, just putting 10 grand on Collingwood.Much will depend on how much ROB can negate Brodie Grundy's influence, let's face it he's not going to beat Grundy, few do but he must curb his influence for us to be a chance.
Surely that's an overreaction to round 1 results, Collingwood finished below us last year
If there's one rule you can take to the bank: we never beat Collingwood. Ever.
This is why I thought Strahnie may have come in (RT out) to double team Grundy.Much will depend on how much ROB can negate Brodie Grundy's influence, let's face it he's not going to beat Grundy, few do but he must curb his influence for us to be a chance.
How about if you are wrong you leave ? If your willing to say he will be sacked next year nostradamus ?dogs105 and UcantCme
Nicks: "“We wanted to reward him last week for his efforts and it was invaluable having him exposed to the AFL level.".
What a crap reason to play Milera! "Thanks for sticking it out in 2020 and 2021, here, have a game against Freo".
It doesn't take much to decipher the above:
1) he selects players foolishly for AFL games to reward them "for [their] efforts", not necessarily because they are 100% ready to go, to make a full contribution.
It's consistent with selecting underperforming and/or injured senior players eg based on last week's game, both Sloane and O'Brien could well have been dropped, retaining Thilthorpe (who needs AFL games and not to shine in the seconds) and promoting Strachan. But, no.
2) Nicks has forgotten (somehow) that Milera had played 62 AFL games in 5 seasons and would be well in touch with the speed of AFL footy from that. He's 25 in September ffs.
His confidence and execution would be well down after such a long absence (and they were); let him tear it up in the SANFL and earn his spot back in the AFL side. But, no.
Please, bookmark this and if I am wrong, great:
After another crap year in 2022, Nicks will be sacked about 12 rounds into a crap 2023 season.
==> ignore. Too easy. How about if you are wrong you leave ? If your willing to say he will be sacked next year nostradamus ?
Was 7 or so in a row…fun day at Marvel…Fond memories of a game against them in 2011 where the Crows were in front the whole game, up by 18 or so a few minutes into the last quarter and then Collingwood kicked 10 or 11 goals in 12 minutes or so and we lost by 43 points.

Hint?

Crisp is the one who usually towels us up.
McPherson not playing!Jamie '6 Goal' Elliott usually bobs up too.....
Sidebottom too...Jamie '6 Goal' Elliott usually bobs up too.....
Just had a look at Collingwood's team. Surprisingly short
Moore, Howe and Madgen down back should give a fair few opportunities to our talls.
Only have to deal with Kreuger and Mihocek up front. Hope our smalls are ready to do a lot of defensive running
2016 was the last, it’s been awhile. If there's one rule you can take to the bank: we never beat Collingwood. Ever.
2016 was the last, it’s been awhile.
Also drew in 2017 at the G when we came back from 51or2 pts down.
05/06 against some very very average Vic teams was the last time I would rock up and was even remotely confident we might get a win at the MCG...
Still have chills around circa 2010 when Melbourne (Yes, Melbourne in their epic shytness period with Moloney and Jamar) destroying us by about ~80ish points at the MCG....
the round 1 2009 (Tex first game) is probably the absolute anomaly...
That Melb game was absolutely embarrassing. One of the worst floggings we've had in Melbourne since the 1991 massacres at Moorabbin and Windy Hill.05/06 against some very very average Vic teams was the last time I would rock up and was even remotely confident we might get a win at the MCG...

I remember a young Dangerfield getting sling tackled into the ground getting concussed by Trengrove who got 3 games, and Jonathan Griffin then missing a goal from the goalsquare....good times
The fact that you made a post to bring attention to your new sig is cringe
