I'm hoping we lose this one so the board will be forced to make a change. I'm not letting this list be wasted.

From second quarter onwards it basically felt like I was watching a team in purple that looked like they were 3 goals behind and not really sure what to do even though the scoreboard said differently. We continued to play a zone that wasn't working against a team that scores from mids running through the centre v a team in red manning up so tight they were sharing underwear. Yes, the umps were very inconsistent which made some heads out there drop but that's nothing new for us so they just need to suck it up and work harder.

I saw a team packed full of talent but bar Treacy, unsure who was meant to be doing what until they got a handpass in the guts while walking backwards into traffic and had to think quickly (JOMs specialty).

In defence we just seem to protect area, and in offence, in most cases, eyes seemed only for a first handpass, regardless of whether that put us in a better position or gave Sydney extra time to defend. Bloke near me spent all game blaming Freddie for all the teams woes, but anyone with a brain could see he'd been given a very specific role to cover an area and players running through that which meant he was often close to the ball but didn't seem like he'd been given a job to go get it or tackle for it, just cover the players or area near by. It is clear that the roles are so tight that any sense of instinct, modification appears off the table for most players.

I just want to see what these players can do when playing on instinct, particularly outside D50. Yeah we need to get Young and Darcy (and probaby Walters/Swit) back in the team to replace Voss, Ras and Banfield, but we can't keep playing like this.

It's like we have a list full of Lindt chocolates but JLo has switched the contents for carob.
