There is no injury. The club has taken care to state that ROB will not be part of any resting plans for this week. He has been upgraded as part of the rules where a rookie can be upgraded before the end of the season to the main list. This is good management in case anything happens during finals.

Doesn't the fact that ROB is not part of any resting plan suggest that Sauce is injured? I.e. we haven't upgraded him so he can play to give Sauce a rest, we have upgraded him because we need someone to play in ruck.
Unless...
This is all true - but does it have to be done before round 23? If so, then of course he should be upgraded now as insurance and there's no reason to think there's anything wrong with Sauce.
If not, it suggests there's something wrong with Sauce, because otherwise why would we upgrade him before we have to?

No we shouldn't. Watching Sauce, he thrives on continually playing. He also trains fully with the midfielders, hence why the boys nickname him 'Tall Mid'. And sorry it was part of the tweet that accompanied the story.

The end of the season is coming this week. My understanding is that finals don't count, it has to occur by today.
Sauce has to be an out. A rest would benefit him immensely, let's be honest, a win/loss won't make one hell of a difference. Let's hope we're competitive with a debutant ruck. By all reports, he's good.
I also got on at 2pm. Cats were paying $2.50, only two hours later they are $1.80 favourites, Sportsbet have contacts, we're resting a couple for sure...

No doubt we're gonna rest a couple IMO. We'd be silly not to especially should North lose. Maybe not to the North/Freo level but maybe 4 or 5.
As long as we don't lose by a point and then WB choke and lose!
