Sauce has to be an out. A rest would benefit him immensely, let's be honest, a win/loss won't make one hell of a difference. Let's hope we're competitive with a debutant ruck. By all reports, he's good.

I always thought that sauce played better when he strung games together.... but i guess he hasn't missed many since coming across, so it'd be hard to tell

I really hope we select a normal side and keep moving forward and gain more confidence

Who could be rested do you reckon?
Sauce, Thommo, Tex, DT and perhaps Charlie if he needed a rest. Conversely say Thommo or Eddie could be subbed, or even Sauce if we don't cop an injury early.

I also got on at 2pm. Cats were paying $2.50, only two hours later they are $1.80 favourites, Sportsbet have contacts, we're resting a couple for sure...

nah I'm doubting it, we've already spoken about keeping momentum, although I think we can probably rest a couple and still win. I think might just be expecting us to rest now because of the situation.

I really don't think we'll rest more than 2 players. It just isn't what Walshy would do and goes against the ruthless culture we've been building towards this year.

Tbh, I'm still expecting us to go in unchanged, or maybe just Lyons or Crouch out. O'Brien will certainly travel with the team but might not be used.

I agree, if we have one or two who are very sore and have carried a big load we may rest just them.

There's no doubt that JPod is in great form, kicking 9 & 11 in his last two SANFL games. Even so, the odds of him coming into the senior team next week would be very close to zero. I doubt he'll even be on the emergency list.
Give him a game. Play tall send him off. By the looks Norf will shaft us anyhow. We would look like legends giving all those Geelongs blokes a send off with JPOD. We will still smash em.

The change is harder.
in JPOD
Out Crouch

Unchanged is fine in my view. I wouldn't be unhappy if Crouch got another crack to make up for last week. Would also be fine with him resting a week so JPOD can kick 5 and give his mates a hug at the end

North Melbourne
In: J.Tippett, M.Daw, A.Mullett, A.Black, B.McKenzie, M.Wood, T.Dumont, L.McDonald, K.Turner
Out: N.Dal Santo (managed), J.Waite (managed), M.Firrito (knee), A.Swallow (knee), S.Higgins (knee), T.Goldstein (managed), S.Wright (knee), B.Cunnington (knee), S.Thompson (ankle)

North Melbourne out's , This is absolutely ridiculous

Knowing North, this will bite them in the arse.
