Vandermeer comes back in as soon as he is fit for mine. His jib the cut of I like.

Wasn't doin cartwheels for any of Smith (the not baz one) Gardner and West and of those Gardner looks like he genuinely has NFI...West needs some VFL but that's not his year. Cavarra gets a pass.
Lloyd was OK today. Dale does some good things but goes missing for extended periods of time. Wallis could have had a day out if he kicked straight. McLean had a pretty good game.

We need Croz, Cordy and Jongy back ASAP to HTFU against better sides.

I'd like to be convinced by Lipi but I'm not. Richards was better off the half back line.

In: VDM, Bruce, Crozier
Out: Lloyd, Dale, R. Smith

West provides so much more energy than Lloyd. JJ can earn his spot back. I’m no Gardiner fan but he was serviceable today so won’t get dropped. Still prefer Le Young. Smith was ok too, but Crozier in for him if fit.

Good to win well and for me to eat a bit of humble pie as far as team selection, but Adelaide are the most inept AFL team I’ve seen for a long time. We beat a ver ordinary footy team today.

We will get slaughtered at the stoppages against Melbourne if we play Dunkley in the ruck.

Out: Lloyd, Smith
In: Bruce, Vandermeer

If Crozier is fit, then he could come in for any Dale but not sure I want to drop both Lloyd AND Dale.

English could be forced out, likely Trengove replaces him

Lloyd goes before Dale

To my earlier change, if Crozier is fit then he should come in for Gardner. I’ll just back Wood to cover McDonald and hope Croizer helps out.

Lloyd goes before Dale

Thought Dale played ok today, Lloyd is out of form, interesting to see if Vandermeer comes straight back in though

If we expect the Dunkley experiment will work against Gawn Then Bevo has really Gawn mad

Assuming Crozier, Corey are not right yet

In L Young, Bruce, Vandermeer
Out Gardner. R.Smith West

If English isn’t right then Sweet debuts (against Gawn but we need a mature body and Dunkley won’t cut it Bevo)

Still think we just need to get as many games into West as possible but he gets squeezed out at the minute

Roarke didn’t do anything wrong today, he is just a solid VFL back up though

Gardiner, well let’s just finish the experiment

Seems English will probably be ok according to the presser.

Also seems Bevo conceded two talls are needed

Doesn't it say in Revelations 54:16 that when Bevoh admits he needs two talls then the Day of Judgement is at hand?

Out: In:
Eng (inj) Sweet
Lloyd. Bruce
West. VDM
Dale. Schache
Gardner. Cordy
R Smith. JJ

IF English is ok, sweet can wait but I like the idea of Sweet vs Preuss.

My thinking is playing Bruce and Schache at high half forward to provide options in transition and give Naughton space.

IF Crozier is back, then he needs a spot. He is too good to leave out.

Gawn is playing

Looked very warm out there today, wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 are in need of a break.

Agree that Bruce comes in but the way we use him will be interesting. Naughton needs to be the deepest tall surely.

If we get back Crozier, Bruce, Cordy and JJ and English are all fit:

FB: Crozier Cordy Williams

HB: Richards Keath Wood

C: Hunter Dunkley JJ

R: English Macrae Libba

HF: Dale Bont BSmith

FF: Wallis Bruce Naughton

Int: Daniel - Trengrove - McLean - West

Trengrove is needed to run into Gawn. But can also run rotations in defence and forwards. Really about keeping us at full speed. I don’t know why he doesn’t play more given what he can bring to the team. Will need a bopper to play on Hawkins and need to get come game time.

Cavarro played well and very unlucky but West just brought real pressure and caused a big upgrade in forward pressure. Has tremendous upside. Despite this Cavarro deserves another go so would be OK.

Roarke is behind JJ and Crozier - did some OK things but is a long way off those guys and many others.

Gardiner did a bit better but Cordy has been fantastic and should come back in. Not quite as tall but better. I would love to see Lewy get a game but I understand they are still unsure about him - I think this is an OK game for him - he is fast and good in the air. Eventually I hope to see Lewy, Cordy and Keath playing with Lewy swinging forward and as a mobile ruck and ultimately replacing Keath but not yet. This is important for our future with no real alternatives yet. Raak is more a Wood replacement than KPD.

Dale stays - he was a bit slow at it today. He needs to trust his speed and skills and just go for it and we will get back what we got late last year. Again eventually: Naughton, Wallis, Schache, Dale, Weightman and JUGs will be formidable.
