very encouraged from judds words tongiht. for him to make a 180 degree turnaround from sure thing retiring a month a ago to fully committed to playing he must have seen something he likes. he said he likes the direction the club has gone the last couple weeks which indicates that it's more than just a flash in the pan and MMs gamestyle us finally being embraced by the group.

Just watched the on the couch interview, very interesting Juddy said 4 weeks ago he was going to retire... I have a sneaky suspicion he knows something we don't about the up coming trade period... And something has gotten him excited about the possibility of us challenging for the flag next year.

I'm convinced - Judd knows Boyd is coming. :p

What stood out for me was hearing Juddy say how for the first time he feels like all 22 players have the same attitude/competitiveness when they run out to play. He said footy is more fun for him when he feels there's an even contribution.
As he said that, I couldn't help but think that Mick's selection choices has helped that. You can clearly see certain players aren't getting a game, not because of a lack of talent, but due to their attitude.

I'm already making up scenarios in my head that lead to Judd signing on again for 2016.

Never leave us, Juddy. Please.

When they introduced him tonight Gerard said at half time on saturday you should've been signing a MULTI year deal - and Juddy kind of agreed :)

Was the whole pay cut thing just Juddy conceding that the whole Visy deal was a load of sh1 te and not demanding the additional cash from the club?

funnily enough, contrary to popular belief our forward line is fine as long as waite is around. scoring efficiency per i50 is good, we just don't get it in enough and are terribly inaccurate.

but judd wasn't convincing when asked if waite will be there next year. so if waite leaves........starting to connect the dots?

Even if Waite stays, that's only for 1 or 2 more years. By then Boyd will be ready to dominate after being second/third forward to Waite, Lachie & a roaming Levi.

C'mon now. I'm pretty excited about Juddy signing but to think it means we've definitely got some super trade deal lined up AND THAT IT will help us challenge for a flag in 2015, is a bit of a stretch.

Even though I contemplate 25 scenarios a year that have us taking the cup, none can be taken seriously.

No one knows anything for sure on here (well most don't), but its just speculation based on what we've heard. For Juddy to say that he was ready to retire only a month ago but has changed his mind is a potential indication that something is happening at the club that makes him want to stick around.
