Sorry to intrude but watching Judd tear the game open when it was there for the taking brought back some good memories of his days with us. Just the gulf in his class and composure on the big stage was so evident today.

He wins games off the back of his sheer willpower and drive. It will never cease to amaze me how he can completely turn a game and, without needing to vocalise anything, lift the other boys up too.
A true champion of the game, is Judd. Anyone who says that he is overrated is only fooling themselves.

OMFG. In my eyes he is arguably the most influential and greatest footballer I have ever seen. True champions of the game rise above the rest in finals and pull their side along to win a game. We are blessed to have him in the Navy.
Showed today he can still turn a game of football in 15 minutes. Can still carry a team on his back, for a time, when required. How many current AFL players, as skillful as they might be, can do that? I'd like people to name them because I don't think there would be more than a fairly small handful.

Chris Judd was the difference - no doubt about it. And a great perspective in his interview after the game. 'We were right with them the whole time, despite the cheap frees'. A true champion.
When I was walking (skipping) back to my car after the game, I saw a boy of about 5 years old with the number 5 on his back. I've never seen a prouder or more excited looking kid and all I could hear was "when I grow up, I wanna be just like Juddy! He's a champion, Dad did you see that goal?! It was awesome! He's the best player ever!" And then I realised that I was saying almost the exact same things to my dad...
