What a beast he is.

We're used to him going Super Saiyan at times but when it comes to finals, he can have quarters where it's like he goes Super Saiyan lvl 4

No words can do that performance any sort of justice. You can heap all the praise in the world on him and deservedly so, but that's just not enough.

That 3rd quarter was something to behold. Needed to find another gear to get us back in the game; and not only did he find that gear, he found another 3.

I noted at the time and still hold to this day that his 3rd quarter in the 2010 EF against Sydney was the best individual quarter of football you're ever likely to see. His third quarter yesterday afternoon came as close to that quarter being surpassed as is humanly possible.

The great players stand up time and time again when they are needed. He's a true great of the club, and a legend of our game. He may be slowing down, but the greats can still find these performances in them that make you sit back and just go "wow". Yesterday was one such performance. He can't do it every week, but he can sure as hell do it when it counts.

I was seconds away from posting that he shouldn't be out there at half time. He looked like he was really struggling.

Then some part of me said there was a good chance he was just biding his time, saving himself. I doubt he would deliberately do that, but I did notice that he actually wasn't on/around the ball for most of the 1st half, seemed to be cruising around half forward. Wouldn't be surprised if it was a coachin ploy by Mick.

If he was a racehorse he would have been off to Uncle Bens by now as he is physically knackered, but like champion racehorses he has the ability to lift on the big stage. He and Goodes are the only guys that can turn a game like yesterday. I still marvel every time he is tackled and he manages to get his arms free.

Post brought a tear to my eye. Getting very sentimental in my middle age.

Anyone see in the last when Duigan marked and kicked it to him in front of goal? (It got bought back and Duigan had a shot and kicked the goal)

Juddy marked, fell to his knees and could barely get up, he was absolutely cooked. It was a true privilege seeing this bloke once again step up through sheer will and determination.

Is now my all time favourite player and that 3rd quarter is up there with Kouta's '99 Prelim 4th quarter.

Showed he still has some hunger left in the tank and think he will go on to 2015.

I ****ing love you Juddy.

I have said it before: personally, my favourite Carlton player who I have seen play in my time (since the 80's), with Diesel and Kouta not far behind. Ridiculously good player :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::)

I noticed that and thought it was strange. I was worried that he just got injured on the spot. But you've just clarified that it was bit like a car slaughtered in a long hard journey then falling apart. The movie Blues Brothers anyone? He'll piece himself back of course.

Absolutely, totally agree, J-dude. Words cannot do it justice, so I won't try to describe it.

Showed today he can still turn a game of football in 15 minutes. Can still carry a team on his back, for a time, when required. How many current AFL players, as skillful as they might be, can do that? I'd like people to name them because I don't think there would be more than a fairly small handful.

Thanks guys. I appreciate your kind words, but i'm just taking it one week at a time.

AFL website reporting that Judd arrived at training with a limp today.

Loved his game on the weekend, but even Judd couldn't do it on one leg.......

Watch the video where they tried to get a few words out of on his way to work. Clearly limp in one leg and walking quite slow "nah mate i'm fine looking forward to the challenge next week" or something to that effect

I think everyone should move on from the trade, we both won.

Judd is still a gun, and anyone who doubted him are surely eating their words now.
Move on? Why the **** should we move on? We're reveling in his magnificence. You can move on, you hardly have a choice.
