Maybe the investigation has concluded and the incidence against him is damning?

Stop protecting him
You're making assumptions nothing has come out indicating that it is done in fact there seems to be nothing but frustration about how slow it has been going.

Not protecting anyone but innocent until proven guilty is a right in in this country so put your pitch fork away.

The whole situation is sad for everyone involved.

The affect on Clarksons mental health is going to be felt by his family and friends.

And the request of 37000 documents from the club.

Do you think he might want to avail him self of all facts in order to defend himself
He could easily go to mediation and ask questions. Find out details. Give no admission of wrongdoing.

I don't know anything about the documents - the panel seems very good at not talking about this in public.

Absolutely no idea why people are potting North Melbourne, their players and their supporters following this news.

I want nothing more than for Geelong to fall painfully into an abyss in a form sense, but if you substitute them in for North in this scenario I'd likely feel pretty bad for them. Certainly not the time to be kicking somebody while they are down.

Could be something to do with the ridiculous over the top vitriolic hate for a teenager that decided to move clubs, to the point where loads of their fans were wishing him personal injury?

Please try to keep the discussion on topic and sensible. Trolls will be removed.
Help mods and use the report button for posts that step over the line, please don’t retaliate and make it harder to clean up.

Thanks all.

Clarkson's bizarre outburst at Hawthorn in his presser last week seemed an indication that he was not well. It was extremely out of character for somebody who has generally handled the media well, and would/should have known his comments would make front page news.

I've never been enamoured by him but wish him the best and hope he's able to get better away from the spotlight.
His direct pot shot at Mitchell and his performances in grand finals was even more unhinged. It was actually sad really - I have no idea why he felt the need to single Mitchell out publicly.

Something is not right.

It's not just Port supporters. And what you described certainly isn't all North supporters.

I wouldn’t be doing that until I received that information. Do you not think the process would be easier if he could point to documented evidence

You'd go to a binding mediation without having asked for all relevant information? Really?

Just turn up and be that good guy.

It doesn't help when you generalise the small portion of idiots wishing physical harm to JHF to "loads of their fans".

Every supporter base has their own fair share of shit humans.

What about the MH of those Indigenous players and families?

The Mitchell thing has been taken out of context
Radio interview yesterday with someone in the audience said they can’t see how it was interpreted the way it was but people will always find fault if that’s what they’re looking for

No one know's the whole story outside of those involved. As soon as the AFL took the reigns on this it only had one direction. Curious that he has bailed one week before the parties were to meet for mediation?
