Young easily.
A better comparison would be Young or Simpson.
a very limited back pocket.
More outstanding insight from BF's resident ignoramus. Watch Armfield's games this season and tell us what's limited about him?
The abiltly to read the game and execute any of the fundamental skills beyond an elimentary level. He can run quick though.

Where is the option for 'Neither' ?

Clinton Young 2010 disposal efficiency - 66%
Dennis Armfield 2010 disposal efficiency - 70%
If Armfield is yet to show an ability to "execute any of the fundamental skills beyond an elementary level", then what does that say about Young who apparently has outstanding disposal?
It is OK to refrain from commenting on an issue that you have no idea about. It is also OK to admit that you are way out of your depth in any argument.
It is very humorous, however, when morons such as yourself continue to think that they have any idea what they are talking about. Go back to the Hawthorn board where rumour and innuendo, and performances from a few years back continue to outweigh facts based on current performances.
If you're looking for a winger then I take Clinton Young as Army is a defensive specialist.
If you're going for the better player then you have to take Army every single time. It's not even close. Young will be lucky to be in the comp in a couple of years time while if Army continues at his rate of development will be a candidate for the All-Australian team.
I honestly can't believe how quickly Army has developed. He still needs a lot of work on his disposal (it's honestly cringe / close your eyes worthy at times) but the rest of his game has come together so well that he is one of the most damaging small to medium defenders in the comp (thus far this year).
2 years ago, definitely.Young is better than Simpson.
