Imagine having the arrogance and self importance that you think dropping our motto without a word is ok. These ****ing campaigners. Dual captains, delete the motto. No worries.

Re: media censoring my biggest issue with the club and the AFL is how it wants to promote an anti-racist sentiment and safe place for Indigenous Australia yet it still accepts sponsorship money from companies who are directly impacting the health and well-being of First Nations people.

All my comments on Facebook are always deleted by the club, but I’m sick of seeing SANTOS advertised through its sponsorship of the Aboriginal Power Cup. This company has directly smashed many cultural sites with no regard along with State and Federal Governments, including my family’s.

If the club and the AFL were serious about creating a safe space for Indigenous people and its players it would separate itsself from these companies and find alternative sponsors. I have heard a number of Indigenous players who have issues with this, but are bound by AFL club policy to not be outspoken. It must be awful to be caught in between this space as a player, while the industry - PAFC included - turns a blind eye and it’s media people don’t allow the truth even on social media.

Rucci’s latest propaganda piece invoking the 1994 Grand Final against Woodville-West Torrens, the 1996 Prelim against Norwood, the 1977 Grand Final against Glenelg, and even the 1936 decider against Sturt as part of the “sometimes you just gotta believe” theme.

I guess it’s okay to divert from the patronising “iT’s NoT tHe SaNfL aNyMoRe” gaslighting strategy if you’re struggling for content.

It's not the SANFL anymore but here are SANFL examples for why this season isn't dead.

Those sides he mentioned MADE you believe in them.
Because they believed they could always win.
The current side folds like a wet cardboard box in pressure moments way too much to beleve in them.
That's the essential difference!

Speaking of Chief Propagandist. From Wikipedia:

In March 2020, Rucci joined the Port Adelaide Football Club as a 'specialist content producer' for the club's website and special publications.

The term 'specialist content producer' is brought to you by the same people who branded Russia's invasion of Ukraine as a 'special military operation'.

I mean, it is a pretty embarrassing motto for a club which has a premiership strike rate of less than 4 a century in the league it currently plays in.

Next minute we have dropped the 'Power' nickname (I wouldn't be against that to be honest - just have no nickname and be Port, Pear, Ports etc.)

Just came in here to post about this.

****in hell. The propaganda machine is running desperately to stop blow back from our current position, and to try and keep crowds up.

This ****in 8-3 shit kills me though.

It is blasphemy in my opinion, they did make you believe

Gotta be that guy this time though:cool:

Wet cardboard boxes are actually difficult to fold

They do go mushy and crumple though
