The Elsternwick Amateur Football Club, affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Football Association, invites applications for the position of Reserves Coach/Senior Assistant for season 2017.

It’s a very exciting time at Elsternwick, with the last couple of years seeing a huge change in regards to the makeup of the club. We now have an extremely young list of players with great a great attitude and a hunger to improve, combine that with young professional and extremely enthusiastic coach we believe success is just around the corner.

We are seeking applications for an Assistant Senior Coach and also a Reserves Coach for Season 2017

The successful candidates will preferably possess the following

• Level 1 certificate in coaching or be willing to obtain
• Previous coaching experience either as an assistant or reserves coach will be an advantage, however a candidate witht he right attitude looking to get their foot in the door will be considered.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with an enthusiastic/approachable personality
• The ability to attract players and sponsors to the club
• The ability to work closely and follow the instructions of the senior coach/football department as well as being able to implement your own ideas on player development and game strategy.
• The ability to use initiative as well as being versatile within a number of roles.

Responsibilities and Expectations

• Must work closely with the Senior Coach to develop and implement training plans and match day strategies
• Must be able to attend all training sessions
• Work with the other coaches and football department to assist with the recruitment of players
• Work closely with the Senior Coach in developing the youth of the club with the intention to build depth into the seniors.
• Provide game day coaching experience

• Remuneration for their time and commitment
• Development and support to achieve personal goals . eg future senior coaching

The Preston Bullants Amateur Football Club is seeking expressions of interest for an Under 19 Coach for the 2017 Season.

Preston Bullants Amateurs are a young and dynamic developing club playing out of W.R. Ruthven VC Reserve Preston, with a new Multi-Million dollar purpose built facility to suit community requirements.

With only 4 years playing as a senior club in the VAFA, Preston Bullants Amateurs have played finals in every year since inception, and have won Divisional Premierships in 2013, 2014 and 2016.

The 2016 Reserves and Under 19's sides played in Preliminary finals, and the Senior and Reserves sides will compete in Division 1 in 2017. We enjoy a close relationship with Preston Junior FC in the YJFL, and Northern Blues FC in the VFL.

Men’s Senior and Reserve Coaches are appointed for 2017, but are seeking a dedicated and committed Coach to take our Under 19’s to the next level. Good communication & development skills required, with a willingness to promote Club culture. Level 1 Coaching is essential (Club will assist if needed). This is a great opportunity for any aspiring coaching staff to work with the VAFA 2014 Coach of the year, VAFA 2016 Divisional Coach of the Year and VAFA triple Premiership Coach, George Wakim.

West Brunswick Amateur Football Club is seeking applications for an inaugural Women's Team Coach

WBAFC is a progressive, successful and inclusive football club. We have been competing in the Victorian Amateur Football Association since 1959, and are located in Melbourne's inner north (Royal Park, Parkville).

We have grown from fielding men's seniors and reserves teams in 2014, to fielding a third men's team and now a women's team in 2017. In those three seasons we have won three premierships (2x seniors; 1x reserves). We are a club on the up.

With the commencement of the inaugural VAFA Women's League this year, we are excited to have strong numbers to be able to field a side. The coach we are looking for will be adept in teaching the skills of Australian Rules football to players with varying levels of ability, as well as develop a game style for our newest side. You will be also working closely with (and supported by) the men's coaches across all grades.

Based on-campus at La Trobe University in Bundoora, the club is entering an exciting year of football on the back of a successful 2016 season in the VAFA. After both senior and reserves made the preliminary final, LTUFC is seeking a motivated coach with an emphasis on the ability of the following traits:

· AFL Level 1 Coaching accreditation (or desire to achieve)

· Develop and motivate Under 19s men’s footballers

· Ability to attract players from university residential facillites

· Align to club goals and vision


· Develop player skills and general football ability with a visionto play senior football

· Work in conjunction with dual AFL premiership player and Senior Coach Alan Ezard

· Continue to uphold the club’s reputation as an enjoyable place for young men to socialise and exercise through participation in football

As both La Trobe University Football Club and the greater university community celebrate 50th anniversaries in 2017, the club has high expectations for its future and is looking forward to developing a strong partnership with the men’s coaching staff to continue to grow as a club.

Old Ivanhoe Grammarians Football Club, will be entering a Women’s football team in the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) Women’s competition. We are seeking applications for Head Coach to lead our Women’s team for the 2018 season.



To be considered for either role you will:

• Have a passion for improving yourself and those around you by leading from the front, and by example.
  
  
• Have the time to commit to preparation, training, game day, game day review, club functions and ongoing development in regard to your coaching.
  
  
  
• Have a long term involvement in Australian Rules football at an elite or semi-elite level and minimum Level 1 AFL Coaching accreditation.
