This will sound silly - if you are going to bring someone in for Eade to groom what about Luke Hodge? Probably his last year playing, open up the cheque book and sign him up to learn the reigns in the next year or two, surround him with Eade and best assistant coaches that money can buy (e.g. Brendan McCarthy type). I'm sure Hodge could build his own football department with the contacts he has.

Hate the Hawks but him and Joel Selwood are the players that demand the ultimate respect and would teach the players to play hard and smart footy.
