Absolute fantastic idea, was it 19 young boys they said identified? If so very exciting, i think atleast 5 of those boys will be considered and hopefully one of them is a Daicos!

This segment on The Club was a hoot. Was it the youngest Daicos boy who talked about using the Westpac Centre pool for recovery sessions, and picking up tips from Pendles? Hilarious, he's all of 10 or 11? Might as well aim high. Presti's son is another one, doesn't want to play at full back! Another great initiative from CFC.

Anyone else noticed that Essendon are keeping one of their "James Hird Academy" players, Michael Long's son, up the Territory far from prying recruiters eyes now that their Father Son pickups are open game? ;)

Nothing would Surprise me from the Cheats

Moore didn't play last week for the chargers and wasn't listed in the vic metro u18 intra squad team list for this weekend so either he is injured or didn't make the cut for Vic Metro

One of them is 11 o_O

I don't know about you, but what I wanted to do when I was 11 is the same thing I still want to be doing 11 years later. Obviously there's plenty of time to change, but it could very well be his priority at the moment.

If you start trying to "develop" an 11 year old they are going to not have fun playing the game and very quickly stop playing
That is not true. Did you play football? I sure did at that age and still do now, me and someothers in our under 11's side were realy bad kicks nad one of the dads came down to help us every training. After that when you hit a target it was an amazing feeling. 11 year old's all around the country dream of playing AFL they would love to be a part of the program at a young age.

Yeah dad taught me how to kick well as a 10 year old, he didnt force me to because i always asked him to have kicks with me. I would have been the best kick in the team but to bad i just didnt have the greatest footy brain :/

Yeah a friend of mine played under 12s with Richmond's Morris. Said he wasn't even near the teams best player back then, but I guess just through the mental drive he applied himself more than those around him, and all those years later is becoming a very good player for the Tiger's. There is so much scope to improve, that from that age it's all about the mental application to the task at hand.
