Thanks. Good to know.

Would you offer Kelly a new contract? Has he shown enough to suggest he can make it as a KPP?

I would, and think he will get one. I think his last half of the year has been pretty solid.

I think we should look at it this way. If we were to get all of our target trades/draft picks in the next two years, who on our list now would not get a game. This is not counting experienced regulars now, but those we are our just filling spots. Cut them and do it straight after finals..

It just pisses me off we are in this position that we are having to throw our best ruck away in years

Does my head in
Personally, as others have also said it’s more about what picks we get back in the deal for Grundy. The more debatable issue is whether we also need to recruit another Ruckman given Cox is 31 next year in which case the Cap space is diluted.
So unless we get a good deal then Grundy is not worth trading.
Mcstay is coming either way and given the Cap in increasing fitting cheapies like Hill, Frampton won’t be a problem. Mitchell might be any issue if Hawks are not prepared to subsidize the move.

The best outcome is a great deal for Grundy that allows GW to get us in the mix for a realistic shot at Cadman.
