Personally, as others have also said it’s more about what picks we get back in the deal for Grundy. The more debatable issue is whether we also need to recruit another Ruckman given Cox is 31 next year in which case the Cap space is diluted.
So unless we get a good deal then Grundy is not worth trading.
Mcstay is coming either way and given the Cap in increasing fitting cheapies like Hill, Frampton won’t be a problem. Mitchell might be any issue if Hawks are not prepared to subsidize the move.

The best outcome is a great deal for Grundy that allows GW to get us in the mix for a realistic shot at Cadman.

This is one of the few scenarios discussed where I would be comfortable losing Grundy. It's rare for those kinds of trades to happen but the last one involved Collingwood and Melbourne also. It worked out well for us.
