We desperately need an A grade midfielder in... who is still on the market?
Depends on your definition of A grade. I don't think either Taranto or Hopper are A grade. Similar level to Mitchell, who is older (but likely costs less draft capital)

If Hawthorn pull off an Ollie Henry for Tom Mitchell swap well then FMD they have done well. Ollie Henry will be their Gunston replacement in their blue print.

Last year no one wanted to seriously bite for the Hawthorn garage sale of older players......now Mitchell is 12 months older and we give up Henry? Does not seem right.

I know Henry would probably be a walk up starter at Hawthorn, hope he doesn't leave. When he gets that confidence up he will be an absolute gun. His marking ability is something that doesn't come around that often.

The talent is there but he needs to earn everything he gets. Whoever is advising him, is being detrimental to his development and career.
This is the place for him.

AFL trade news: Collingwood shows interest in Gold Coast midfielder Brayden Fiorini

Pies’ plan to make mid next Suns redemption story

Jon Ralph
Collingwood has expressed interest in Gold Coast midfielder Brayden Fiorini as a cut-price recruit who could bolster its midfield without breaking the bank like Hawthorn’s Tom Mitchell.
The Pies have missed out on GWS midfielder Tim Taranto, who is set to join Richmond on a seven-year deal but are still keen to continue adding to an exciting midfield with a blend of youth and experience.
Fiorini has a lucrative contract through to the end of the 2023 season that is believed to be worth more than $500,000 in its last year.

I hope it isn't we help Hawthorn (Henry) if they help us(Titch)

Saw this on extreme black n white
We need four things...
1. Another defender to release Moore
2. Another KPF to create a real contest
3. A magical small forward at his feet
4. Another clearance mid

I reckon it's spot on and it looks like we're aiming to do a budget version of that
1. Frampton
2. McStay
3. Hill
4. Fiorini

If we are losing Grundy but can get Logue and the 4 above it's not all bad.
