You disagree with the players I listed but agree with my point about our development. So how can we improve?
Getting in a new head of player development would be a great start.

Chris Pelchan on AFL Tonight was quite positive about us tonight. He thinks we have the talent to make finals last year but need to make a few tweaks to the list to improve. Jake Niall is almost certain that Wells to us will happen (nothing new), Pelchan not sure why we are chasing Mayne, but thinks WHE would be a good recruit for us.
I can also tell you that Pelchan thinks we are getting Dal Santo.

I reckon we are too but ins development/skills role I suspect.
On the interview this afternoon he said that he would love to play again, he thought his form was solid in the second half of the year. After he said that he quickly replied with but if that doesn't happen I have other avenues in football a head. I felt like he was hinting towards coaching in some way.

Nice work there, maybe Frost + 61 though?

On Battle, he sounds to me like an excellent addition to a forward line of Moore + White/Cox... never seen him, but everything I have read says good mark, good kick, good set shot, good tank, works hard... only negative is not quite tall enough. With 2 forward spots taken by Moore and one of White or Cox, a few cm height wouldn't matter imo if he has those other traits. Great name too.
I heard them talking about him on radio said he would be a good third tall option in the mould of a lynch (Adelaide) or a jack darling able to use his tank to run a defender around

Almost not worth posting but Brad Hardie saying Pies are shopping De Goey around. Usually wouldn't believe anything he says but its not only him who is saying it. Kid is off the rails off field apparently. Hope he stays. Could be another Swan if we control him.

If he is "off the rails", then it reflects poorly on our club culture.

Pert spoke about the "volcanic" behaviour of our players during the off season two years ago. If JDG has also chosen this path then questions must be asked about why it is still happening. Is it just a reflection of society or does the Collingwood FC have serious cultural problems?

Well IF That is true and not Fixed then we need to Get Rid of lot of People in the Footy Department and Players that been on list for a While

His manager was on trade radio yesterday and said that he wasn't going anywhere.

Imagine a sly vis

His manager was on trade radio yesterday and said that he wasn't going anywhere.

Did JDG's manager mention how his off season was tracking?

What bullshit. Club cannot be blamed for a player going off the rails. The are so many other potential influences that could be at play. We are an employer, not a nanny.

Pert has raised this issue on multiple occasions. Our season was derailed this year when Slobbo claimed eleven or so of our players tested positive for illicit drugs. We have had two guys suspended for two years for taking PEDs. I'm not blaming the club for the players choosing this behaviour, but I am prepared to ask what the club is doing to improve this situation.
