So, excuse my rudeness and let me immediately be the first one to congratulate you, the Melbourne football club, on your 12th wooden spoon, and your 2nd in a row now.

Well done, you now have as MANY spoons as you do premierships, though it has been 45 years now since you've actually won a flag. In fact, you've earned the honour of wooden spoon (ie, worst team in the AFL) on 6 occasions since your last premiership.

Therefore, in the last 45 years (nearly half a century... fair bit of time to show your true colours), your achievements are -

It's great to get the best two picks in the country, especially since we are obviously better than 4 other sides (Richmond, West Coast, Fremantle, North).

He had a very good game AGAIN on the weekend, thanks for asking.

He missed a sitter from 15m out after falling over (just can't get that Melbourne influence completely out!) but other than that he had a great game, set up many influential attacking thrusts, including the sealing goal.

In fact, I'd say he played better on the weekend than anyone in your whole team.
