I’m not sure I’d be any worse to be fair. ;)
Yeah, we can’t all be finishing bottom 6 for half a decade whilst watching top 10 draft picks running out the door

Kerr played in a different era ffs, his extra 4-5cm on Jones is worth a lot more in 2023 with the average AFL players height being what it is now.

It's like people mentioning Pavlichs height for a key forward able to kick 600 goals, like its remotely relevant to use it as a basis for comparison anymore.

Dunstall was 188cm gaiz, no point targeting any bigger forwards than that, clearly you don't need to be tall to kick a bag.

Jones and Bolton are the same height.

Is Bolton too short to play mid?

Both only 3cm shorter than Kerr.

Not sure what point you are tying to make about shorter mids.

Can coming in peace simultaneously co-exist with apologising for the intrusion?

Who says no?

Certainly not that Bulldogs poster that wanted to politely see, after the aforementioned apology for the intrusion and confirmation of coming in peace how they could get Tom Barrass without giving up too much of note.

Those were the days.

It’s almost if height doesn’t really matter if you’re good at football
Yeah it’s incredible that being good at football is not as important as combine results.
Maybe that’s why Finch keeps getting a game as opener his combine results are off the charts

What I like about Ginbey is that he has the potential go to head to head with those beast big powerful midfielders like Petracca and Oliver. Besides Yeo, we dont have anyone close to that. And I think its why we miss Yeo so much. He's not perfect but neither was Oliver in his draft year.

Given his size and spdeed, if he won more of the ball/played more midfield to date, he would be in the discussion for pick 2, not 8. I think he has the size, and shows more than enough in traffic, to transition into the midfield, unlike some of the others we've drafted and hope to move there. I think he's definitely worth taking. Absolutely worst case he will be a top line HBF i think (not a role player like Duggan), which are quite valuable in the current game.
Culley?

How much money is being poured into rule changes and studies into HIAs by the AFL for fear of future law suits?
Its all about player welfare they screech. Yet they turn around and deliberately handicap all clubs from being able to provide the best medical care they can with the soft cap. They are stopping the clubs from spending money they have to ensure their products (players) are given the best chance to stay on the ground.
It beggars belief. Just to accommodate povo clubs who cant balance their books, they compromise the whole competition and the health of their players.
What they should be doing is removing any cap on medical employment and if some of the povo clubs are being dis-advantaged and aren't able to hold onto decent medicos, the AFL should provide some assistance in that area. Or ship them off to tassie.
The clubs are to blame as well. The rich and popular clubs (us, Pies, Tigers, Blues, Crows) should make an agreement to blow the fot cap next year but only spend it on things for player welfare. Then tell the AFL to get stuffed when they try and charge a tax.
