How hard would it be to include how long Jamieson and Jones extended for?

Communication remains underwhelming.

Because you should be thankful you got told that much. Either way they know everyone will stump up the coin again next year and if anyone doesn’t will just get replaced by someone that does. I have no doubt they wouldn’t announce a team if they didn’t have to on a Thursday night or produce an injury list which can be shown by how its wrong every week.

I think he’s earned two years. Been one of our few shining lights in a shocking year.

He adds pace and flair of the half back line. Something we don’t have a lot of.

WCE are not alone in this - other clubs also keep contract lengths secret, but sure, by all means doesn't mean we can't pot the club for it.

I’m more than happy for contract values not to be disclosed but I think it should be an industry standard that contract lengths are public knowledge

Judging by those photos in the news, it seems to be a pectoral related issue.

You have seen the out of contract list for 2023? plus add 3 almost certain retirements in Shuey, Redden and Hurn (assuming they all go on).

Not sure JJ would be cut ahead of about 9-10 players regardless, so may as well give him the extra year that his form in 2022 warrants.

Sound logic. The more years pass that he's our head coach, the higher likelihood that one of those years will get us a flag.

Really, if they were smarter they'd give him the AFL's first 100 year long contract. We might snag 10 premierships out of that tenure.
