So looking at senior list turnover at the end of '23, the more likely avenues would seem to be:

Retirement:
Hurn - Highly likely
Shuey - Strong chance given his body
Nic Nat - Outside chance given lack of good other options. Contracted for 2 years but if his body is shot they may call it early

Delist potential:
Witherden and Clark would seem the most likely
SPS - A chance if he continues to be on the fringe
L.Edwards - At risk if his body doesn't hold up another year or progress stalls
Rotham and XON not entirely safe but I think Rotham is more trade bait than delist candidate and XON if he shows improvement should be ok
Jamo, B.Williams should be ok given Nic Nat is the only senior ruck and Barnett is obvs not ready
Other fringe players like Waterman and Foley I think are likely to be kept on
J.Williams its too early to tell but you think as a young KPF they give him time unless he completely spuds it up

Rookie players West, Winder and Trew obvs are on the edge

Culley you'd imagine is upgraded from the rookie list at year's end

Make or break for Petrucelle to.

Im hoping he has a good year and we trade him for a pick upgrade. Say a 3rd into a 2nd.

Burgiel, Hewett and Long to push him out.

Clubs wait to see if any bids come for their pick. So you dont jump too early and miss a call.

Also the AFL want junk time for the media to discuss each player picked.

It's going to be interesting watching Philpou career unfold. His getting a lot of online hate with some of his arrogant statements. That age you do say a lot of dumb stuff. Not sure if his overly confident or misunderstood. He does need to pull his head and actually start playing footy and stop talking to media.

My Intel was correct it looks like. As suggested by me eagles split picks and got 2 west Aussies. When I suggested this would happen months ago before the media reported it, many on here called BS said I was a liar. I also said eagles would never select phillipou based on my Intel. Also correct. I predicted west Aussies with pick slide so I was spot on. To my critics how do those lemons taste . It's nice to be validated when people have called you out and you prove them dead wrong. The so called experts on the forum are not as smart as they think they are. I have a reliable source of Intel within the eagles club whether the big egos here like it or not. Eat humble pie

Looking at that list profile, take out Allen and the 21 to 25 year age group is a shite show.

Confirms that we really need 2 more years of low draft picks.

Simply cannot afford to finish better than 14th next year or we need to trade out some stars.

Otherwise we will be the Saints.

it's funny how many people called me a liar a BS artist. That Keys guy especially he hated that I might have Intel to the eagles recruiting, me an outsider loud-mouthed agitator in his eyes I wasn't part of his boys club, but lo and behold I validated myself. Many tried to discredit me, in life there will always be someone looking to take you down a peg, it's usually when your onto something and they are jealous. Tall poppy syndrome, it's very common is this country. We get jealous of the success of others or if someone treads on our turf and shows us up. Many on here get jealous of Callum twomey and knightmare and rubbish them, it's tall poppy syndrome, it's jealousy and it's pathetic.
