This is the vile neo liberal sh*t that holds us back.

YOU MUST HAVE AN OVERLORD TO BE PRODUCTIVE.

All micro managers do is inspire people to work to rule, hate their jobs and eventually kill their aspirations for bettering themselves.

The vast majority of people are motivated enough to do their job as well as they can without some do nothing manager keeping watch like a school teacher.

Another double donut day for Victoria and we all know why. The bastards are shipping all their infected cases to SA.

The samples from latest case in SA, a woman in her 20's, are still being tested but I heard Spurrier say it looks very likely that she is a reinfection.

I can't wait to bring My Corona to Adelaide.

So if Victoria goes 14 days without a case do further restrictions come down? or are they talking 2 cycles - 28 days, which was the language Spurrier was using back in late April and May before opening up SA.

Who ****ing knows with Dan.

3 active cases in the whole state and 2 of those are in hospital.

He’s clearly lied to us and been targeting elimination all along.

Technically Victoria may not have gone 14 days without infection. The woman who was detected at the airport in Adelaide yesterday had just stepped off the plane from Victoria. If she was reinfected for a second time in recent days she must have picked up the infection in Victoria. The case will go down as an SA case but that will not change the fact that it was contracted in Melbourne. Of course it might also be an old case where the victim was still shedding but for some reason tested negative in Victoria then positive in Adelaide. It would not be the second time that has happened. We have to wait on developments but on this morning's radio Nicola Spurrier was saying it could be a case of a person being infected for a second time.

Back to your point, Daniel Andrews has flagged a further easing of restrictions on November 22. Thus far Andrews has stuck to a time frame so I would not expect him to rush things. If there are no further infections he will probably confirm the November 22 move next week. By my count that would be around 23 days without infection.

If there is a lighter side to the story it is the fact that a Channel NINE news crew who interviewed the woman have been forced to self isolate. Hopefully someone will be checking to make sure they are following the rules.

They are saying she’s a “shedder”

Very good coronacast today discussing things like immunisation passports and travel insurance, as well as whether a vaccine prevents you from catching the virus or whether it prevents it from making you unwell.

The University of Queensland vaccine is reporting good trial results.

If the UQ vaccine passes the trials it may be a better answer then the Pfitzer vaccine which has to be stored at -70 centigrade and is apparently too risky to be given to the elderly. On top of that the UQ vaccine can be produced in Australia.

One of the reports I read said that the Pfizer vaccine gives you what feels like a ripper of a hangover, which is apparently even worse on the second dose

I'll take my chances with covidfefe I think

Yeah **** that. I can't handle hangovers anymore.

It depends on how many get that 'hang over', the article didn't even speculate on it. It just said "some people". It could have liiterally been like 1% of doses, exactly like the flu vacc.

Another day of double zeros. That's 14 days in a row, which means the 14-day average for new cases has also reached zero.

3 active cases of which 2 are in hospital.

6,000,000 people still wearing masks and all the other shit.

C’mon Danny boy enough is enough.

I have a feeling Dan won't budge. So it's Sunday week before we see more easing.

In better news I've just heard Marshall's agreed to quarantine free travel from Vic to SA from 1 Dec if Vic keeps on track.

That’s great news on the boarder. I’ve got a weekend booked to Sydney in December and grandma wants to come from SA to look after the kids but wouldn’t if she had to quarantine on the way back.

Dan won’t budge because a 3rd wave caused by him and his team of fools would kill him politically.

I'm coming to Adelaide on 1 December for a short visit then back with the family for xmas.

You're spot on about the reason Dan won't budge. His popularity rate has bounced back, Labor has a large majority and the Libs are pretty ineffective but Dan wouldn't survive a 3rd wave.

Of course you will need a valid passport and a Visa. ;)

No surprise really and if Victoria can maintain a clean sheet until December 1st it will have gone 31 days without infection.

At the risk of speaking too soon Australia has gone 6 days without a local infection so the nation is close to eliminating the virus from our shores.

Australians will be able to travel between all states and territories except Western Australia by Christmas, under a new agreement struck between the nation's leaders.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison said National Cabinet had also agreed to public health measures to ensure states and territories remain open in 2021.

Western Australia is easing some border restrictions, but travellers from NSW and Victoria must continue to quarantine upon arrival..........

WA Premier confirms eased borders will go ahead at midnight

WA Premier Mark McGowan has confirmed people from SA, Queensland, ACT, NT and Tasmania can enter without quarantine from midnight.

People from NSW and Victoria will still need to isolate for 14 days.

The problem for voters is they know all about the **** ups made by a sitting Government but they are never sure that the Opposition would have done any better. Thus far the Governments in the Northern Territory and Queensland have been returned and I think Daniel Andrews, despite his hotel quarantine balls up and even Gladys Berejiklian with her Ruby Princess fiasco and Daryl McGuire indiscretion would both be returned. Despite the **** ups along the way most voters will look at developments overseas and give credit to the Federal and State Governments for avoiding a daily death toll in the hundreds.

Heard on the BBC that Swedish authorities are having a re think on their COVID strategy. They have stopped short of a full lockdown but have limited the public consumption of alcohol. Bars must stop serving at 10.00 pm. They have also recommended that limits be placed on gyms, non essential shops etc.

In the past month infections in Sweden have skyrocketed from 95,425 to 171,191. The death toll is also climbing.

The link below is about a month old but even then many experts were warning that Sweden had got it wrong. It looks like the Swedish Government is starting to listen.
