South Australian chief public health officer Nicola Spurrier said his family members had returned negative results “at this stage”.

But as the child was not required to wear a mask while on the repatriation flight, she said authorities were “a little more anxious” about the possible spread on the aircraft.

Additional testing for all passengers on-board will be implemented as a result.

Why are we so obsessive about where/how someone caught it. This is why normality will never return. "OMG he opened his door and the virus jumped down the hallway and infected someone when they opened theirs". It's pathetic

People go all CSI over it, find someone may/may not have had a mask at the apparent time of spread, victim blame 'super spreaders'. It's a ****ing mild cold for over 99% of people. Just think about what is not said in this story - it is a disgrace.
Was the child sick before they got on the plane - or did they get sick afterwards?
Is the child sick from COVID or something else?
Does the child have any other health issues?

We are told nothing - just toddle hospitalised after testing positive to covid!!!
Essentially, its like the child was totally fine - they tested - and then when the positive result arrived the child suddenly suffered convulsions
