The five cases identified today have all presumably been out and about since getting infected on Saturday night, if each of them infects just a couple of people each …

If they got infected Saturday, they're unlikely to be infectious until the past day or so.

The best thing now is to keep jabbing while still being responsible citizens - masks, distancing where possible, washing hands etc - this may be around for some time yet. In retrospect - WA has done the best job in the world in managing COVID imo - change my mind.

Agree however not a fan of losing events like the Ashes and domestic/international cricket, I mean you're already letting the rich and famous come in without the need for them to even quarantine (Andrew Forrest, Sacha Baron Cohen etc) why not extend that to teams etc at least we get entertainment out of that.

Now I've been told I have to comment on articles I post, so my comment on this is it will be an interesting case to follow.

The effects of today’s interlocutory decision are extremely narrow. It only applies to the plaintiff, no other officers in a similar position, and it only prevents the Commissioner from dismissing him. It doesn’t allow him to go back to work in the interim.

You’re right that it’ll be an interesting one to follow, but at this stage I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t go the same way as every other challenge to a Government mandate in Australian jurisdictions during the pandemic.

I knew this would happen as he was anti-goverment, look into alternative therapies/medicines before covid was on the cards.

Now he has found 'god'...more like a group of people who subscribe to the same views who hide behind a spiritual being.

Im waiting for him to sprout a few Qanon conspiracies and spike my beer with bleach
