One of my good mates has a healthy dose of skeptisism, now hes wellndown the anti-covid-antivaxx-big$pharma$ rabbithole.

I give it 2 months before hes trouting Qanon theories.

I dont understand why the booster shot is not based on a measurement of our antibody level but instead a 4 months, 5 months or 6 months period. (i am not sure if these period were established by looking at the average efficacy-time curve which are derived from infection/hosptialisation rate)
I was told the antibody level varies quite a bit with different individuals.

Where are the resources going to come from to test 20 million people's antibody levels?

I am encouraged by this. The current ideas are clearly unsustainable, this new definition seems a lot more practical.

If there's a hard core of 10% of people who won't get vaccinated then that's 10% of the labour force gone. Massive.

My sister is in Scotland and got selected for a study. Originally had two shots of Pfizer and got a bad rash on her arm with the second shot.
They tested her antibody level recently and it came up with absolutely zero.
Plus they won't let her get a booster because of her initial bad reaction.

Apart from a dead arm I've had sleepiness and low-level aches in my neck and shoulders today, the sort that makes it uncomfortable to sit at a laptop, or watch TV. It got to the point where I was considering abstaining from any beers tonight.
