I live near some drive through clinics around Vic Park/Lachlan area. Both the one on Albany Hwy and Orrong road cause traffic delays, because the queue backs up onto the road. Seems to have been steady for a few weeks.
Do certain professions need PCR over RAT? I've rolled into a drive through PCR and saw those queues, I'd bail and just test myself at home.

In my work (public education) you need a positive PCR in order to be granted COVID leave.
And yes I've noticed the drive-thrus can get packed at times.

Did a PCR this morning. Have done several all at the same place, varying days and times. The queue today was about five cars long as opposed to the 30-40 with an hour long wait at all other times.

This below is a mess because I overlaid the actual results (dotted black line is the moving average) over the WA modelling (blue line / blue shading) and scaled them the same.
We have been tracking a fairly similar pattern to what was expected, but with a less steep shape. (The model did mention that it erred toward the pessimistic side)
When the peak comes it could happen relatively quickly so even though there is no obvious good sign in the numbers just yet, a week from now we'll probably have a good idea of where we are and the model thinks the news will be positive. I mean negative.

You can disregard weekend figures. Wednesday seems to be reflective of where it's at.

Why are people still expecting masks to be removed soon? There will be mask mandates through winter at the very least. I knew it'd be to winter and then some.
But he's just jumped ahead three months from time and said he'll extend the SOE. For what appears to be no reason other than speculation.
The masks don't stop shit anyway. Huge chunk are and will be triple vaxxed soon. Let's do away with this shit sooner than later.

I've given up resisting most of this shit now I just go with the flow. If it were up to me I would not make masks mandatory (but I would still wear one anyway at least through winter). Reckon if they make the 4th booster mandatory (even though I'd probably still get it once eligible) I'll be attending some of these anti mandate protests.

The HRC finally finds a voice after 2 years, but it shouldn't just be WA in the firing line here.
I've started to notice the public's compliance with masks slipping. Things like: staff at bars wearing them around their chin until a Patron approaches, people at shopping centres wearing them around their chin (or some not even wearing them at all).
