Then there was Hawkey pretending to be a batsman & getting his glasses smashed...Anyone know how old John Howard when he pretended he could bowl?
Im surprised they didnt shoot him in Pakistan for that delivery.

Anderson will play to he is 50... just for the pink ball tests. What are England going to do when Anderson and Broad retire? They've only got one decent world class batsman, and most of their bowling contingent are injury prone.
Are we about to see another 89-05 type of run in the Ashes for Australia? Well maybe not the long but perhaps 6 series in a row where the urn is retained.
Not sure if this is the right place for this question but I'm in town visiting family and happily have got tickets for days 1 & 4 of the Ashes
Trying to work out public transport plans to and from the ground (am staying in Sellicks Beach) and the Adelaide Metro trip planner seems to suggest that the last available bus from Adelaide to Seaford leaves at 8:05pm each night. Surely that can't be right! Can anyone offer assistance on best public transport options from AO/CBD to the southern suburbs post a match at the Oval?
Any guidance gratefully accepted along with any other tips for watching at AO as it's been a long time since I've had the chance to do it.
Only 1 of them (Root) is reliable. The others are capable of winning games off their own bat, but fail far more often than they succeed (e.g. Stokes).Anderson will play to he is 50... just for the pink ball tests.
Poms have 3 match winning batsmen.
Were underdone for the 1st test.

Well it should, someone who is double vaccinated who is a close contact has to isolate yet people from Vic and nsw dont? Not really, as it falls under the sh*t happens category.
Not really.Going to put sa health under the spotlight.
Sitting outside, not at the same table, apparently.Lyon and starc at the same restaurant apparently?
Not at the same table? Didn’t check in?
He's not meant to isolate, it's just 'recommended'. Anyway the entire country hates him now.Not really.
It puts the bloke who goes to dinner while he's meant to isolate under the spotlight.
