Curran served suspension?

Apparently Tom Curran will be back for the Sixers tomorrow. How on earth is his suspension served via 2 washed out games that weren't played?!?!?
This makes zero sense!
It was if there was no game at all for him to sit out because there wasn't.
I'd love someone to explain it to me.
The only thing that makes sense if if this is a make up call because of what happened with Steve Smith and the finals.
