I'm talking about those players who have had iconic moments that will be in highlights packages 100 years down the track.

A couple who spring to mind are Daniel Wells mid air goal, Andrew Walker and Brendan Goddard for their marks, Buddy's goals after the long run down the wing.

What are some other current players who will be etched into history for a moment of brilliance?

In years to come I reckon it might be looked back on as greatness, the defining moment. Much like Wayne Harmes and his assist.

Leo Barry's mark?

Could be true.

Leo Barry's mark for sure. Unfortunately people will remember his mark more than how good a player he was 2004-5.

Goddards mark and goal in the drawn GF.

Scarletts toe poke for chapmans goal in 2009 GF.

Cyril 3 on 1 on the wing in 08 GF.

Buddy kicking 7 and the winner v Crows.

Stewy Dews 5 minute blitz.

Varcoe's 2011 GF last/4 goal that started with him deep in defence. Amazing gut running, and the goal sealed the result.

Only watched the game the once, did not notice the quality of that goal. Amazing running. Three massive efforts.
