I’d like us to convert Houston and Soldo into Lukosius and two top 20 draft picks in this year’s draft without giving up next year’s future first rounder. Alternatively Lukosius, a top 10 pick and a pick between 30-40.

If you break it down, I really think that’s fair.

Houston should be worth a pick between 7 and 12, and a second pick between 15-20. Turn the latter into Lukosius.

Soldo should be worth pick 30-40.

Go into this year’s draft and turn pick 7-12 into the best available midfielder and pick 30-40 into the best available dynamic small-mid forward.

Use existing pick 36 for a KPP (forward or back).

Use our third round pick for Richards if possible.

Use one of the remaining picks for Barrett.

Take the F-Ss in the rookie draft.

If possible turn Clurey into a third developing ruckman.

Delist F. Evans, Narkle, Kyle Marshall, Charleson.

Outs:
Houston
Soldo
Dixon
McKenzie
McCallum
F. Evans
Narkle
Charleson
K. Marshall
Clurey

Ins:
Lukosius
Richards
Pick 7-12 (midfielder)
Pick 30-40 (small-mid forward)
Pick 36 (KPP)
Barrett
Burgoyne
Montgomery
Developing/backup ruckman
Francou

The only reason for singling out Evans and Narkle for delisting is that McEntee is contracted, which is ridiculous.

The alternative is to keep one of them if Boak retires.

I realise the above changes leave us with little mature depth, but we’ve missed out on Perryman and Cumming which doesn’t help there, and I’d rather us recycle young players to find those that can actually make it rather than persist with list cloggers with low ceilings.

If any club is offering a future first Dan can spend another season with us and we’d still get the same pick at the end of next year. Makes absolutely no sense for us to take a future pick.

Fully expecting us to except a future pick.

Still think his first choice is Carlton,

And we should expect pick 11 and future 1st as the bare minimum or we walk.

There’s just no way we should be accepting the same thing we paid for glass ankles being escorted out of Gold Coast with a gun to his head Dixon and lawyering up to get out of essendon Ryder.

Tom Morris reporting it is down to Carlton and North Melbourne.

Port are adamant that there must be a first round pick from this year as part of the deal.

Personally, I'd take North's future first, which I think will be a top 5 pick and 22 for Houston and our F2

Then trade our own future first to Freo for one of their first round picks in this draft.

I think that's a fair deal

We could get access to Dyson Sharp next year, while also getting back into first round pick this year.
