I was thinking about this a few weeks back.

I'm genuinely curious about how a team goes about the last few games when they're in the bottom 3-4 teams but don't have their first two draft picks. Anyone know if it has happened before?

Years gone by, even without intentionally tanking, you'd play a few kids, send some guys for early surgeries etc knowing that it has the dual benefit of preparing you for next year and increasing your chances of getting some good picks. Now that second driver is removed do you still look to the future or are you extra conscious of handing your opposition a massive advantage?
