It’s his running patterns which are the issue. He always leads to the same spot as our other taller forwards. Should be running in the opposite direction because with his size he can easily drag two defenders away from the hot spot which creates space for others to drop into.Yes, we really need to stop resting Gawn forward, I know hes kicked some goals but I feel like when hes forward its just a license for all our mids to play slow and bomb it forward. Would much rather him rest on the pine.
But this is a general issue with the organisation of our talls. No coordination on leads. Either everyone runs to the pocket or just stands in a pack near the goal square.
