Imagine the best SFA game you ever played was the most important one of your career to-date? Well for a Deestroy Medallist, that was just the case. On a lovely grand final day in Season 32, BringBackTheAnchor decided to go prime on-field Wayne Carey and deestroy the Furies in the premiership decider.

The conditions were warm, almost perfect for a key forward to make their mark on a big game. Up one end was Dragons' BringBackTheAnchor in just his 36th game, while up the other end was Fighting Furies' Bastyy (allegedly).

Phil - Furies to challenge for most of the game, with the Dragons to win narrowly in the end.

1 : .1 {rW} - A Swallow slowing down the play.
1 : .13 {lHFF} - A measured kick in the direction of Ljp86.
1 : .18 {lHFF} - No-one can take the mark.
1 : .22 {lHFF} - Ljp86 is now off and running.
1 : .26 {CHF} - Gets hands off within the nick of time.
1 : .3 {CHF} - BringBackTheAnchor seems to like his chances ....
1 : .34 {CHF} - BringBackTheAnchor's kick is close. A goal!.

It set the tone for the day as the Dragons led by three points at quarter time and raced away to a 23-point lead at the main break.

The Furies managed to close within 13 points at the final break and many wondered, could they come back and win? Well, BBTA as he was affectionately known, had other plans...

4 : 6.12 {rHFF} - Ohhh. Knifey Spoony runs back with the flight of the ball and nearly gets cleaned up.

4 : 6.22 {CHF} - BringBackTheAnchor on the end of this.
4 : 6.26 {CHF} - Big ... big kick by BringBackTheAnchor.
4 : 6.31 {CHF} - And BringBackTheAnchor doesn't disappoint us.

Baz - FINALLY! @BringBackTheAnchor finds the middle and the fat lady is warming up her vocal chords. Or is that @Supersuns eating KFC?

From there it was a mere formality and the Dragons would run away with a comfortable win even with the Furies kicking some consolation goals. But, few could doubt the BOG as BBTA finished with five and an incredible Deestroy Medal from CHF.

So here's to the champion who helped deliver the Season 32 flag to the Dragons!

Just try not to mention it to DenieD Having to share it in S31was a bit traumatic.
