Not off to a very good start by the sounds of it, but sounding better as the game goes on.
Heath Black up to his usuall tricks though.

Its just not the same listening to the game on the internet at 3am in the cold.

You guys are probably lucky to be as close as you are, your skills have been ordinary. Still say, if you can actually kick to Pav properly, you'll win. Just got to get smarter in your decision making.

From an outsiders point of view, and I don't watch many Freo Games, I am very impressed with Roger Hayden as a footballer. Knew he was handy, but he has impressed me a lot so far.

Bit of an arm wrestle so far, 2 points down at qtr time. We've had more of the ball but the delivery into the forward line has been pretty ordinary, need to really improve in that area.

From an outsiders point of view, and I don't watch many Freo Games, I am very impressed with Roger Hayden as a footballer. Knew he was handy, but he has impressed me a lot so far.

He is very good, silky smooth. He is completely underrated outside of Freo for some reason.... we missed him badly when he broke his leg.

If Collingwood can play a first-gamer like Brown on Pavlich - why can't we have Palmer replace McManus or Matt Carr? This just frustrates me no end.

Skills aren't great, but neither were any on Thursday night so its comparable. Mundy has been great like usual. Mark Johnson has been hard and barely made a mistake, McManus has been good and Carr has been a joke, M Carr that is.

Reveler, the score is harsh on us considering how much play we have had compared to Collingwood, they have just made the most of their chances, we haven't.

Schammer needs to flatten out his kicks and stop making them up and under. Rest of the team is good so far, especially the defence.

Because with Clement gone, they have a space for Brown to play in that no one else can take. They don't have any backups that aren't young. This obsession with youth is driving me crazy, its quite annoying. Because it works for Hawthorn it works for everyone right? Wrong.

Farmer was flogging them on the wing, he had a few precision passes in that few minutes. Makes a huge difference.

I'm with you Bradesman, he gets the pill as often as anyone but he needs to use the ball better. He's actually more pinpoint on his left I reckon.

Geez, it's been frustrating to watch so far. My buddy has got a heap of it, and he also got a goal from a 100 metre penalty

However, the clearances are a real worry again. Someone explain why Warnock isn't in the team? Michael Johnson isn't a ruckman, never will be. Schammer has managed to turn the ball over a fair bit too. Disappointing all around, and yet we can still get out of this with a win.

1 goal between Tarrant, Pavlich and Farmer. We'll need a lift from those guys if we are to get up.

Incredibly underated, McPharlin and Hayden will go close to AA this year.

Forward line has been so-so, doesn't help when they kick to Pavlich everytime and miss him most of the time.

Watching Tarrant run around I can't help but wonder about what kind of a difference a second year mid would have made to our side.
