OCTOBER RANKINGS

Selections this month are starting to shape more into what is likely to happen.
Names expect to see are here, in the mix and approx number of selections (don’t be surprised if only around 50 are selected, I’m being generous here)

When I post these players I am looking at what voids need to be filled and who looks best ranked to fill those voids, the particular order won’t ever be correct we can only predict and once pick swaps are finalised I will post a draft sheet of who I think teams should select

This years draft isn’t a good one a lot of stand outs who were ranked top 30 early this year probably won’t get selected at all

There will likely be more risky pick selections as low as Pick 15 who might not be as good as you think

I previously posted surprise selections who I think could get selected earlier than experts think

Also Haven’t touched anything on next years rankings on the second spread sheet

Happy to take questions
Enjoy!

APRIL RANKINGS
My current rankings where they sit after a good month of footy

Pick 1 will be difficult at this stage it’s a toss up between the top 5

Moraes and Hotton are just as good to be in top 3 calculations the pointy end looks healthy feels like there’s a lot more talent in this years draft many who will slide

Hard to pick favourites now keen to see the U18 Championships

Mid Season draft is interesting to a lot of missed talent and players who missed out last year who have improved this year

MAY RANKINGS

Latest rankings with start of U18 championships, at this stage there’s good players who will slide and players like Lombard who could be as high as Pick 3, just shows how tight it is

There’s a lot of injuries as well will be interesting to see O’Sullivan, Faull, Draper and Lalor when they are back fit

I have noticed so far this year there are a lot of fwds, good talls coming through and goal kicking mids who can play a lot on the wing. So that’s where majority of skills are with these players at the moment

Also some good mature players to like Impey, Flockhart and Pike who will be handy pick ups for teams like Crows who might finally delist Kieran Strachan and develop another ruck

JUNE RANKINGS

My latest rankings after watching a good chunk of the U18 Championships got to really see the players up against each other some surprise ones, few players I want to see more of that haven’t had much luck (e.g. Sam Lalor, Finn O’Sullivan)

JULY RANKINGS

So far Pick 1 this year will be up in the air, some people haven’t got Draper but Smillie, O’Sullivan or Ashcroft which just shows it’s a tight race for the top spot

Draper makes it for me at the moment because of how mature he plays he plays as if it’s his 100th game. He was a beast last year and BOG against mature players in U18 Championships as an underage player. So this is mostly my reason why he’s it and at how good he’s been playing lately in SANFL league especially after injury. That’s my personal view all contenders will be great at the end. Surprise packages are Harvey Langford and Murphy Reid both unreal players.

A mature age player to keep an eye out for is Kobe Ryan I forgot to add him in the spread sheet but he makes it as a rookie pick so far.

AUGUST RANKINGS

Latest rankings for this month. The top 7 so far are as good as all being between Pick 1-3. Draper is very close to being my first pick, Ashcroft overtakes him after that crazy VFL performance. Draper has also been playing as if he’s an 100 gamer.

Another player ripping through the ranks is Harvey Langford, can play multiple roles on the wing and in the midfield with smooth skills.

A lot of hidden gems still in the Picks 20’s and 30’s that could still easily be in the 10’s

Reminder that this is an order who I think is performing best so far, wherever teams end up will pick what is suited or best available for them

Example is North Melbourne will most likely have Pick 2-3 they could well and truely use that selection for someone like Luke Trainor who I really think they need.

Any questions feel free to ask
